How does headroom (with a panoramic moonroof) for someone who is 6'2" compare between the NX and RX? Is there enough front headroom in the NX? Or does one need an RX to get adequate clearance? And if there is enough headroom in an NX, does this come at the expense of putting the seat so low that one loses visibility over the top of the steering wheel? Thanks!
Front head clearance in the Nx is enough without dropping the seat to its lowest setting. Rx is overall more spacious but if you are needing just front seats for clearance you are good.
@@VagabondBuilds Great- thank you!!! I was worried about the impact of the panoramic moonroof. Rear seat doesn't matter to us since wife and I just want a small car now that the kids have flown the coop.
@Vagabond Builds: At 4:10 you said "this is a 450H option and not an F Sport option" but the vehicle clearly displays F Sport badge just above the front wheel. Could you clarify?
To clarify, the option pertains to the 450h+ meaning the sport handling option that is on the car does not add on the panoramic roof. The fact that the car is a 450h+ the panoramic roof gets added
I’m also 450h+ f sport owner. How do you feel about driver seat? I just feel it’s to hard so It’s not good to my waist. Needed more coushion such as non-f sport model. Anyway good review!
Thanks for the compliment. It is a bit more stiff I’ve noticed and you are right with the comfort of the non sport. In all honesty if I went Lexus I would have went comfort, I know the f sport is beautiful I just think Lexus is more of a luxury/comfort brand for me.
The drive will feel different. Depends if you want a more smoother ride go 450h+, if you want more stiff and sport go f sport. F sport is top of the trims, so it gets everything.
Its a bummer all the luxury cars have done a way with real leather. Thatd be a great touch in this otherwise well put together interior. Do you know if there is a luxury or ultra luxury package to get real leather ?
Yes and no. Though Acura is Hondas luxury line I feel as if Lexus is a bit higher luxury. Both are reliable and great cars. If I had to compare I would say the Rdx is fairly close.
.............................. You are an idiot this car is NOT a CVT.......You wish to put it down ...most probably because you can Not afford it!!! The Acura does have a cvt trans....However... …......... NOTE: This is a “NOT” repeat, not a CVT gearbox on the NX, ( many that can not afford this vehicle “try” to put it down by trying to spread this FALSE propaganda (do your research) ...this is not a CVT vehicle!)......it is an “ e-CVT “which is an epicycloidal transmission and no belt of any kind. eCVT is completely different from a cvt. eCVT doesn't use belt/band. Nothing are the same. It's a transmission that contentiously varies, the mechanics are different but the outcome is the same !
Lexus for life!
I will have to say you chose a great manufacturer for life haha
Informative video. Love it.
Glad you liked it!

It is a planetary gear ECVT. Not the other CVT, belt based. ECVT is way more reliable than CVT.
True true.

What’s the difference between the f sport and the regular luxury 450h+ which one should I get ?

F sport is top of the trims, so it gets everything.

@@VagabondBuilds yeah the dealer in Buffalo told me that the F sport would be better handling and the ride is the same so I’m ordering the F Sport

The Chevron pattern in Luxury package are real leather.
Thanks for the response.
Higher packages do get leather.
Who is this guy?
Ummmm.. just and average guy haha
Will this compare with Acura RDX?
If not, which would be a good competitor?
You seem to know a lot about cars, I would appreciate your help.

CVT trash
Yes, I’m not a big fan as well. Never have been for that CVT.
