I did a random buy on Ebay one time, ended up winning a bid on a bunch of cards for about $65. In the pictures I seen a 4th edition strip mine, an Armageddon and a Land tax, what was NOT in the pictures was a mana vault and boy was a pumped to find it! Haha😅

There is a use case for Jeweled Lotus outside of Commander. A deck in Legacy uses a playset of these with Doubling Box. When Doubling Box is activated, it sees the mana generated by Jeweled Lotus, but not the restrictions on how it can be spent.

Lol. I have a pile of mana vaults sitting around from my youth. It’s no mana crypt that’s for sure. It mostly works out to be a one shot of colorless mana you never untap unless you have an unwinding clock or something.
I don’t even play them because it feels sleazy but my 5 various mana crypts just got wrecked. Rules committee scumbags almost certainly insider traded.
It’s not insider trading because this isn’t the stock market my dude. If you want to invest in a card game, probably don’t put your money into non reserve list cards. 😂😂😂

No trusted financial broker or advisor would tell you to put money anywhere near this. It is not protected by federal laws. It’s high risk, low reward and the people who were playing fuck-fuck games with their money, found out.

The RC is concerned about the state of play, not the state of the market. WotC, who I feel would have been made aware of these bannings before hand, shouldn’t have made chase reprints of these cards. They shouldn’t be making commander specific products in the first place.

I've seen there beautiful cards pulled and the excitement on the faces of the ppl who pulled them banning these feels sorta wrong
