It's been like a blast from the past listening to your treatment..I was one of those reading everything I could about AA. My husband Paul had the Horse ATG treatment too and unfortunately had the serum sickness and every known side effect plus some new ones so was in for 12wks in total. Had to take a full year off work to recover.. Don't rush back to work. Listen to your body and consultants. Looking and sounding fantastic.

Androgens are male hormones - testosterone, basically. I take anti-androgens because of my PCOS. Gotta block the things causing all the not nice stuff.

My. First night of ATG was the worst night of my life. Chills, sweats.

@@rohiniedunuri8544 six months after the ATG treatment, my platelets and white blood cells are in the middle of the normal range.RBC are at the low end of normal, but that is ok. I feel great. I just hope the numbers stay up as they taper me off the cyclosporin. And i hope they stay up permanantly.

My siz is due for ATG and we were worried about the aftermath but after watching this I will have to convince my dad to let her have it.
    Thanks for this.

No problem at all, this is just my experience obviously but I do know of a few who have had similar experiences 😁 yeah I’m really good thank you! 3 years on and I’m healthier than ever, having a baby next month and honestly my body is like new! 🤞🏻

Testosterone/androgens affects red blood cell counts. people taking supplemental testosterone have blood tests to make sure their red blood counts dont go too high.
