Did the bobber seat conversion to my xvs1100 2 years ago love the look but what did you do for the swing arm? Everytime I hit hard bumps the tire can kick up and hit the underside of my seat I stiffened the mono strut to the max and put 5 inch springs under my seat to give me a little more rise still a no go. Stiffer spring or convert it to hard tail?

Try taller springs - stock we provide 3"

get a different rear spring... they suck from factory. get a progressive spring from Pacific Customs and your bike will feel incredible.. so much nicer ride and sporty but can take the crap on the road like a boss..
