    Looks great, just bought a similar set up and same risers. Do you know what size the bolts are width wise? Mine came with none!

      The Bolts I used for mine were about 4" long 1/2" Coarse x 13tpi (13 threads/inch) Bolt
      hope this helps

    Hi, I'm looking for extra pullback about 2.0". I thought a set of these in chrome would do me. Probably 4.5" height which would give me the extra pullback. Can you tell me if the bolts (thread is the same as the original) I think the original is a 12 mm. So, are the bought one's 12mm or 1/2 " Whit ? Close but not the same. If they are not the same ,did you find any vibration etc. I have a 2011 Custom. Thanks for the video it was well made and informative. Graham, Bundaberg, Queensland.

      Sorry for the late reply,
      The standard bots are as you say 12mm & were to small for the riser's I got.
      The Bolts I used for mine were about 4" long 1/2" Coarse x 13tpi (13 threads/inch) Bolt
      hope this helps

    Could you have used the original bars with the risers?

    • @tinytripod
      @tinytripod  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You probably could of, but that would of meant extending all cables and wiring, plus that would have give me the look I was going for,

    Hey brother been thinking of the same swap... was the ride any different ? im a big dude and i feel like the stock bars are angles too far towards each other for my comfort. but trying to find bars that give me a straighter grip to relax the wrist seems to be to much to take care of at the bike shop so im on my own.

    • @tinytripod
      @tinytripod  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I found it so much more comfortable with this setup, rather then with the stock bars,
      And I didn't have to swap any of the cables, everything seemed to reach and work fine.
      And I really regret letting the bike go but I was made an offer I couldn't refuse at the time.

      @@tinytripod thanks. I'm putting a drag bar, it comes with 4 risers to add on to old risers. right now I have 4 in my bike. so it would be 9.5. As long as not messing with cables, I should be ok.
