A great reminder that our prayers for conversion for non believers are working. We may not see it, but God is orchestrating everything in the background for His perfect timing. Thanks again Matt!
@Cindy Alejo My newly dedication to pray for conversation of sinners. i was cold from church for 15yrs! Someone probably prayed for me & others and God opened the door🙏 am also remembering Holy Souls suffering in purgatory.. lets cry to our Lord & he will sure hear our cries…
When we are praying for non believers in a non condescending way, people see the change in us as our hearts become purified by prayer. This change becomes noticeable to others who will be drawn to us and ask a reason for the hope that is in us . Read 1st Peter 3:15.
@@paulheffron4836 Praying for non-believers to become believers is condescending in and of itself. Pray for them to become better people. They may end up sharing your beliefs; they may not. That's deeply personal, and not something that anyone else should try to influence.
I fell in love with CS Louis after reading (hearing) The Great Divorce and then all of his other books soon after. He was a huge part of my re conversion back into back into Catholicism. Haha but I'm not English or Australian or anything I'm freaking Mexican American from Texas. Lol

Wow. That was a great story. I've made a note for myself now to read the Chesterton and Lewis books because they keep being recommended by so many people I'm following.

What a wonderful gentleman. Just finish reading Mr Pearce Book. The true English history. Could not put it down. Yes Faith of our Fathers is the title.
When he was in the NF. They started to fall apart. The faction he was involved in looked towards an ideology that could regain political traction. That ideology was Catholicism. When he realised that the NF was headed towards the abyss. He decided to become a Catholic academic. Simple as that.
Spanish people still having faith in a protestant country like England for people like Chesterton. He knows Spain is the most underrated country ever and you are paying the price now of the black legend against Spain.
@@DisobedientSpaceWhale the topics Lewis decides to cover in his books specifically adhere to the theology of many mainline Christian denominations, which in turn happen to derive from Catholicism. If I’m remembering correctly, in Mere Christianity he even goes into why he doesn’t cover topics such as Marian doctrines. The reason being is that he’s not interested in bringing people to a specific church but to bring them to Christ in general and let them decide which church from there.
I suffered from Catholicism but with therapy I have overcome my addiction to cats now. Well I had to make a dumb joke to avoid the temptation of making some crack about Neo Nazi to Catholic not such a big leap, but I won't succumb to it ...
I think there's a difference between race realism and actual "nazism". One being actively seeking to harm others and harboring hatred in your heart for others.. the latter isn't compatible with Christianity. I don't think race realism is incompatible though. Could be wrong idk Edit: feel like I should clarify that race realism as I understand it, is simply understanding that different racial groups are in general... different. We aren't all exactly the same and that's not a bad thing. It also means that we realize that nations have done better historically when they are homogenous or near homogenous as opposed to smooshing every race and culture together which obviously breaks societal cohesion, creates tension that is not necessary and dilutes or destroys our unique identities.
@@angelus823 Its totally a waste of time to care about race if you truly believe in an eternity of hell and heaven based on religious beliefs. Totally pointless to care about muh genes
its not even funny, youre just wrong; Hitler was openly ultra anti christianity but he knew that many germans were christian and not ready for the new neogerman paganism. He prosecuted catholic priests and catholic church and catholicism is in principal contradictory to natsoc

I'm just about to finish his book on Chesterton. What a beautiful man.
God’s ability to touch those who you would think are furthest from him is always for me, a source of great consolation and wonder.

Praise God… He can take us away from the darkest places…
What a wonderful grace of God in the conversion of Joseph's father.
Thank you for this beautiful interview!
Fantastic video sir, thank you for covering this beautiful story of conversion. NOTHING is impossible to God.
I learned about Catholicism through Chesterton too. This is a wonderful interview. I could watch it every day!
What a touching testimony 🙏
"Wewll, at least this will keep him out of trouble"
That has to bring a smile to anyone's face. =)
Matt, you got the last name wrong in the title - should be "Pearce" not "Pierce". Love the video by the way!
I love this dude! He gives hope.
Hope for what?
Great conversions and such a wonderful witness
