Sweet holy mother of God. Thank you so much for mentioning that. I've had some newer bulbs I've wanted to put in, but don't have the time to dismantle the car to change them. Everywhere I've gone, including the manual, has some long and pointless half-ass way of getting there, but you're the only person that mentioned the access door. I knew that little thing had to have some purpose. Thanks a ton.
Couple of items to note: You do not have to undo the side marker lights nor do you have to disconnect the marker lights. Be careful when tugging on the bumper....you have to separate the bumper from the black plastic that is part of the side marker lights. I had to gently use a putty knife to help separate the the two. There are also some tabs on the bumper that you must be careful with. Putting the car back together was fairly easy. Hope this helps.
At 3:07, my car has a plastic bracket that's missing (in this video) when you "gently tug" on the bumper, that one mine is also bolted to the car. I am just wondering does this have to be put back on, as I "gently tugged" too hard and broke it. It looks like the car in the video doesn't even have the same plastic bracket that my car has. This is odd.
hello the socket on the ford fusion 2008 is small for using led lights, this led lights have a wide end so they don t fit is there any adaptacion for making this led lights works thank you
Thank you very much for the video!!! I just ordered a set of these for my 2007 Fusion and I cannot wait to install them. Not only are the factory headlights the worst I have ever seen on a car (making me want to replace them- my 65 Mustang had better headlights) but the Halo lights look absolutely awesome and should far out-perform the stock headlights to boot. I was thinking of also updating the lighting system to an HID setup. Has anyone out there made both of the mods together?
do your projector headlights have a lifetime warranty meet a oem specification and are the exact same replica of the stock headlights as far as external dimensions & line up properly because I've seen them installed and they like shit on every car
@bluepnutbutter yes, what you see in this video on how the headlights are is exactly how they look. the halo's are already built in.. you would just have to do some minor wiring to get the halo's to work.
You can skip removing the screws on the bottom (which looks easy because he has a lift). Leave them on, do everything else he does, and just pull the bumper cover deal forward to get to the lights, no need to completely remove the bumper cover deal. There is video on TH-cam showing how to do this.
The only reason why it would still be attached is that there must be a bolt or clip that you missed. Find the area of the bumper that is still holding on and see if there is anything to remove.
+Lena K Yes you can find the adjustment behind the headlight unit. You will see 2 silver 10mm bolts or a phillips head screw that will move the projector to get them adjusted. This video can help th-cam.com/video/7j_r2-PlQ-c/w-d-xo.html
Doesnt mention ANYTHING about the black plastic clips that are near the marker lights. I did all the steps mentioned and cannot get the bumper off because it is clipped in!
+Marcos Ramos You can find and purchase the headlights on our exclusive retail store www.k2motor.com/ search item# LHP-FUS06-TM on their website and they should pop up. The headlights are also available in a black housing.
There is a bulb access under each front tire! I just did mine. 07 fusion. This guy doesn't know what the hell he's talking about!!! Or he making people do two hours extra work as a joke!
Their is a handful of so called videos on this procedure that is total crap. This video actually shows how it's done and done right. Thank you.

Still think these gen 1 fusions are the best looking. Wish they would go down as a classic collector car.
You are the man!
I removed the screw on the turn light at the fender well but there's another screw somewhere holding the fender on, can't find it?

Quick question, what is the bulb size of the lowbeams? would it still be H11 or is it a different size?
How to remove cover on low beam to replace bulb, does it screw off or pull off

MAKE TAIL LIGHT FOR THE FORD FUSION PLZ
The first generation fusion to be exact!!!!
I removed all the screws and bolts but bumper is stuck. Something else is holding it. What am I missing?
The only reason why it would still be attached is that there must be a bolt or clip that you missed. Find the area of the bumper that is still holding on and see if there is anything to remove.
Spec D Tuning
Is this the only way to replace the headlight, is to remove the bumper?
it is possible to change the bulb for the halo's you can upgrade them to SMD T10 bulbs which are much brighter than your regular bulbs
How do i open the headlights to change the halo bulbs to smd t10 bulbs
@Joshuak429 not all vehicles have bulb access from under the tires.. and also, not everyone has the tools to jack up their car that high to access it
I want to buy these for my car..what are the headlight called?
love the headlights i just need halo bulbs
Hi, do you have any headlights for a 2010 Toyota 4Runner?
There should be rubber grommets on the back and under the headlight to gain access to the bulbs.
I want to know if there's an adjustment screw somewhere on these!
+Lena K Yes you can find the adjustment behind the headlight unit. You will see 2 silver 10mm bolts or a phillips head screw that will move the projector to get them adjusted. This video can help th-cam.com/video/7j_r2-PlQ-c/w-d-xo.html
