Envy is a terrible thing. I have 3 Rolexes, Sub, GMT II, and a steel and gold Daytona. Also have 3 Omegas, Planet Ocean 45, Speedmaster Pro, and a Michael Schmacher Speedmaster. I also have 2 Casio G shocks and a Seiko Prospex Tuna 300m. I also like custom grade 1911 pistols. 2 Les Baers and an Ed Brown SF. I also have Springfield Armory 1911s. So I can't say I'm a snob.
Maybe you should get a better paying job. Maybe you can afford nice things too.

I'm not a lover of rubber straps, but here it works perfectly. My next Seiko for sure.

Got myself the stainless steel arnie and a Seiko diver strap (must have the metal keeper) and it looks fantastic!

I own a 124270 Explorer and I completely agree. It ain't a tool watch, at least not anymore. You could say that about every Rolex these days.
That's what I love about my 14060m Submariner. That was definitely the last of the Rolex tool watches. Same with any of the pre ceramic Rolex Submariners/GMTs and Sea dwellers

Looks very good. The hand design looks like a big improvement on the previous standard (e.g. on turtle) invisible pinched middle of the arrow. This design looks better! Maybe they can use this for future turtles???

The Daytona can be found in the wrist of race drivers. The early Navy seals were issued Rolex watches. But Rolex is no tool watch!

Rolex is a WAY OVERPRICED "status symbol" watch, and there are MANY watches as good or better for MUCH (much) less, and if you need to "pose" Rolex is for you....

Yeah, it's annoying cost cutting. The stupid thing is, i would happily pay an extra $100 for sapphire, i don't know why they don't put sapphire on their whole prospex line.
Not a fan of the new design. Those 3 cut off indexes above the digital display really annoys me.
I hope they got the movement right in this one because the brand new S&J 025 I bought a month ago won't hold any settings it's a piece of crap
The build quality of SNJ033 is awful. The second hand is way of the marks and the bezel misalignment is 1-2 min. Worse than a $20 Casio.
Nice watch. Sorry but the SNJ025 is a much Better looking watch. It keeps the Original Arnie look. SNJ025 is the real Arnie.
