My government in Ontario has followed the German lead on renewables. It has been contraversial because the price of electricity has gone up but I think it is a move in the right direction. Our hydro systems could certainly use some German made upgrades, our nuclear systems need to be either rebuilt or scrapped for cheaper energy sources like wind and hydro, and we have so much biogas and biomass potential it is crazy! Thank you for setting an example for the world Germany! I think scrapping nuclear and keeping coal was a bad decision but otherwise I think you are on the right track

This is all welcome, encouraging stuff. There are large companies doing nothing else but innovating and making equipment and schemes that replace fossil fuels, There is only one question I can think of. Why Germany? UK scientists and engineers are the most innovative people on the planet. So why is all this being done in other countries and not in UK?
don't get over yourself, innovators and scientist does not belong to one nation. there's America, Australia, Russia, India, China and even Japan. If the whole world left the innovations to the Brits or Scots and what not, we will still be collecting wood for our steam carriage.
It doesn't have to be considered as renewable, but is should be considered clean and inexhaustible. Make no mistake, it is cleaner than wind and solar. The tiny amount of resources and processing needed for fuel and construction make the ecological damage less than just about any other type of energy when you compare them by power output.. Add to this that new reactor designs make it so that even catastrophic failure has negligible effects upon the surrounding areas.
All the land that is lost for sun batteries is important, because you can grow plants to feed the population on that areas! Bioenergy is shit too becouse you have to cut down the trees, so you are left with polluted air...
If you plant the same amount of trees that you cut down then it is renewable and you don't pollute the air cause over the life time of the trees it is a zero sum game! And there is also a lot of biomass which normally is just waist, which gets dumped somewhere and nature turns it into CO2. Using it in a power plant gives extra usable energy!
John Benton, He is probably meaning that global warming is/will cause very large immigration, so it will cost tremendously more than cost of change to green or sustainable energy.
wish you well i see you respect mother nature to the fulest ......watching from kenya
That's the reason I accepted a job from Germany and not elsewhere :)
This is a deceiving commercial not a documentary.
Advanced innovative and breakthrough inventive technologies will always lead the world markets

Gotta love those Germans. Smart folks.
wwaaaaaa I miss Germany so much... ich kanns kaum abwarten zurück zu kommen!
United States needs to learn from this!!!
well done
The cost and the time to break even on these devices is huge.
I bought the solar panels. Please guide me.
is true ..i try with lens and work ..solar tracking auto matic
Wind directions would remaining the same after the world axis changing?
turbines rotate on their axis, there is no issue with wind direction
This means so much now when Russia is using energy as a weapon against EU

I need to find a German rep in the renewable energy.

UK scientists and engineers are the most innovative people on the planet... according to who?
Germany got the wind power experience through Denmark
Erratic, intermittent, low capacity factor wind turbine/utility-scale solar Energiewende 2017 disaster?
I wish someone would come to Australia and help home owners
What about advancements in nuclear fusion technology? That will be the real renewable energy.
In the event of any accidents, the consiquences is disastrous. Furthermore it should not be considered as a form of renewable energy?
MrJizzmonkeys Germany also has an experimental nuclear fusion reactor, but that's still a long way ahead.

But at what cost?
Nuclear fusion has only been a matter of a few years til perfection.... since 7 decades now!
My renewables energy projects are highers, than the others, I'm looking for a partnership to development, thank you.
German this... German that... don't forget Volkswagen is German and what they did is counter to what this video is trying to prove.
And is not only VW. Is Siemens and Novartis and Bosch and Porsche and Daimler and Wirecard and above all Deutsche Bank.
And don´t forget GM, GMC, Ford, Chrysler...

I believe, you have the wrong idea. It is waste products, from wood industries and agriculture. Trees are not cut down, extra for burning.

How much does Europe wont to pay for the cost of immigrants?
Pardon? What has people movement got to do with energy-sourcing?
John Benton, He is probably meaning that global warming is/will cause very large immigration, so it will cost tremendously more than cost of change to green or sustainable energy.
hehe, segnificient .hehehe less than 10%...and no, its not a good option
Made in Germany means expensive and no one can afford
