Wow…that was a tough crowd! 😅 Peter is still performing today and he’s still great. Puts on a very entertaining show for an hour and a half. Go see him if you have the chance! You won’t be sorry!

Actually, it looks like the original lineup of Herman’s Hermits, except for that one guy with the blonde long hair. It does not look like he was an original.
That’s John Gaughan. The original band member Keith Hopwood had left the band in 1972. Gaughan stayed till 1975.
This song is great, but gets stuck in my head in the worst times, like church.

Yes, the audience were very ‘restrained’.
I think in August 1973 The Bay City Rollers were largely unknown in North America. Even in the UK they were still waiting for their breakthrough. After their version of ‘Keep On Dancing‘ got into the UK Top Ten in autumn 1971 it took them more than two years to reappear in the charts with ‘Remember‘, followed by a couple of really massive hits.

I saw Peter Noone in Wisconsin back in 2000 it was called Teen's Idol Tour which had Mickey Dolenz there too and Peter was hilarious with singing this song and Ms. Jones You Have a Lovely Daughter. He put on such a great show.

I heard Peter Noone had a hard time remembering lyrics which is why the lyrics just repeat over and over. Also, it's rare to hear a British group actually singing in an English accent instead of an American one.
