This was my fav song and, of course - he wouldn't have it any other way - it drove my mother INSANE!!! I had my first crush on Peter and, I'm ashamed of myself, I still do!! Is he even still alive? It doesn't even matter. Peter will always live. He was a special one. Paul McCartney is also special.....they can both talk to a crowd, no matter how large, and make you feel like you're sitting around playing at music. And yes, he is still alive!!!!
Oh gosh this looks so similar to when I’d see Peter Noone and his band perform at BB Kings Bar and Grill in New York City. I’d buy my ticket early-general admission-and arrive early to get a front row seat but I wouldn’t forget ear plugs because I’d be in front of an amplifier. I’d have a real great time! Once Peter handed me an autographed CD and I was pleased as punch...he was about to hand me another but I had to be honest and told him that he’d already given me one. I used to see Vance Brescia-the dark haired guitarist on the left side-perform in gigs; he’s a very talented musician and songwriter-he’s responsible for the Monkees’ comeback song “That was then, this is now.” I remember his infamous kicklines when Peter and the band performed, “Just a Little Bit Better;” I’d think, “Uh oh the Rockettes have competition” until unfortunately Vance had an accident and had to be careful with the kicking. Though I wasn’t born until 1970, it seemed only natural that I’d be turned on to Peter Noone’s performances as well as the music of bands before my time.
Did this with Peter last night again at "The Bank Mutual Amphitheater in West Allis, Wisconsin". He had the crowd in the palm of his hand as usual! ❤ Peter! God Bless him!
Barbara E. Hunteman thanks so much for this video! It's a great souvenir of many fun times seeing the guys. Do you know if any of the bandmates are original?
This was originally written and recorded by Harry Champion in 1911. That version is on Boobtoob and has a lot more lyrics. 100 times better. It is titled "I'm Henery the 8th I am".
What an incredibly fun video. Nice to see that he's still got it, even in 2015.
I love Herman's Hermits. When they play the music, they make the whole world happy.

And yes, he is still alive!!!!
Also in 2024, less than a month before turning 77, Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone, is still alive.
I shall sing this at karaoke tonight. I hope the audience will be so energetic!
And were they?
Génial, la voix est toujours au rendez-vous 👍. Ce chanteur est peu connu en France 😢
Yes, he still sings great! You are lucky to have had handsome Alain Delon

@@michelynm1507 Very cool!
You have invented Punk music with this number! Be proud about, cause it is great!
Something tells me that Peter enjoys doing this song live.
He seems genuinely happy with the amount of audience participation! Love this x
Peter is so good the way he involves the people and things in the city he's current playing in, in all his jokes!
Barbara E. Hunteman I see! I would love to see him someday! x
I agree but the guitar player on the far right seems about as interested to be there as I'd be at a "watching paint dry" convention.
Love this. Thank you! I snagged the album from my parents and wore out this album out when I was a little kid.
He’s gonna be at EPCOT this summer. That place is gonna be hopping!
Peter Noone is great entertainer!!
Rommel Cabanayan the great nod to the Ramones a nice touch

Barbara E. Hunteman thanks so much for this video! It's a great souvenir of many fun times seeing the guys. Do you know if any of the bandmates are original?
You're welcome! They aren't the original fellas, but they surely are awesome!
Brilliant,no more needs to be said
On a long field trip we sang this song over and over and over! I'm sure our teacher and the bus driver got sick of the song
Funny as hell! Drummer's got a little stamina, eh?
Totally lol!
He's been with Peter for 25 years now and plays in a couple of other bands in California when he has a little time off the road with Peter.
When I saw this video was 6 minutes, I thought that there was maybe more than one verse. I thought wrong.... But still love this goofy song
There are 3 verses and the chorus ( which he calls the verse) it's an ancient song ...1911
The drumming man is a drum machine, great fella.
Henry VIII was coronated on this day (June 24) in 1509.
Nagyon tetszik a dal szuper nagyon szeretem a dalait hallgatni ❤.
I want to a high school where we were the VERDIGRE HAWKS, I made up ( winning a game ) song to this tune.
what a fucking cool song.
Audience is great!
possibly the second punk rock song ever...
The drummer is just digging on the song...he wasn't even born...nor, most likely, were his parents at the time...
Absolutely excellent 🌷
Omg he’s got some good genes! What is he like 35 or something!😂
'E still 'as 'is voice.
