Love the truck love the control arms but do yourself a big favour buy rear drop Leafs an ditch those giant blocks. Get drop Leafs an ad a smaller block to suit your needs it will ride so much better. Anyone who has had it both ways would agree.
Ha you've got the same paint scheme as my GT and looks like the same wheels but mine have the corvette centercaps. CrAzy, I wasn't sure if there were any more rust-free, red & gray GTs out there. Enjoy that ride!
It is definitely one of our very favorite vehicles we have. Cool that we have the same wheels, we still have the corvette center caps, we just bought some typhoon/syclone ones to install.
after a having those DJM drop control arms for some time, how are they holding up? I'm thinking of purchasing them are they worth is or are there major drawbacks with them?
We hadn't had any issues with them, although we don't have a ton of miles on them. Guess time will tell, but I'm really happy with then. We have them on a 99 Dakota RT as well, and no issues.
I have a 2/3 drop kit from Belltech I'm putting in and did one with a friend and was surprised that the ride in the s10 didn't improve at all. These things ride rough.

They have been great so far! We went with these because drop spindles are known to rub these specific corvette wheels. Your comment reminds me that we need to get it aligned, but we have not touched it and it tracks great and steers really well. Ride quality has not really changed since we didn't change any Spring rates.
We rented it from Oreilly's, there are 2, one that has a bolt and goes inside the spring, and the other that squeezes from the outside. This is the one that goes on the inside. Sorry I don't know the official name, but if you have a parts store that rents tools locally, the likely have it.
@@RacerXGarage If what I have been reading is that you want a 1 degree angle shim for every inch lowered. My Typhoon is AWD so I think it is not as important with the SGT being 2wd.
It rides pretty similar to the way it did before. Maybe a little tighter which would make sense because new ball-joints etc. Really happy with it so far

Great video helped me a lot on the wheel spacers. I wasn’t sure if I had the right size spacers for my sonoma gt or if I was crazy.
I'm glad to hear! With the spacers, the most important thing is the hub centric in my opinion

No, the Syclone is torsion bar front suspension. Completely different setup

Did the DJM rear blocks have the right pinion angle or do they need a angle kit?
We have not had any issues, however we didn't measure driveline angles so I'm not completely sure how close they are.

These are factory C4 Corvette wheels, I think they're 17x9
