Dad had an Elco with a perfectly running engine, but the starter mounting pad broke. it got welded so many times.... it had to get scrapped. Was your failure caused from water just sitting in the block? I've never had this issue.

I currently have a 96 Dodge Dakota V6 and I’m doing my own work on it to keep it on the road and I’m having a hard time finding replacement parts for if you could share any advice you have from working on your own I would really appreciate it. Mine went out years before there were TH-cam videos on what the problem was. At the time ABSFIXER was charging $150 and it was money well spent. Just to find someone that could keep it out of the dealers' hands was great. And not having to buy a new unit fantastic.

Thank you for making a vid on shortening the Holley harness. I'm about to dive into the same project on my Fairmont. Knowing other people have done this with success is giving me more confidence to do it myself. I was thinking I would buy extra cam and crank sensor connectors and shorten the shielded wires from the other end and leave the Holley layout as is on the ECU end. Thank you! 🤘🤘

I changed the brake and clutch fluid and since doing that the low brake fluid monitor is on and also it states to service traction control message is on and I have no clue as to what has caused this to happen. A couple of weeks ago the DIC info panel is not responding to functions all it does is show me present mileage and if I activate something like the cruise control or door is open it will display that for a few seconds then go back to the mileage and low brake fluid and traction control. I did install a new low fluid sensor in between the the two brake reservoirs and no change any help would be greatly appreciated ( forgot to mention that the DIC was working fine before I disconnected the battery positive post)
