    I was homeless for a year and while it wasn't the most convenient, it definitely worked until I got back on my feet. Showered and worked out at the gym, had a PO box, a storage unit, and no one ever knew.

      Proud? He is a young guy who is totally failing in life. Living in a vehicle is not normal. I moved out at 18 here in California, got married at age 20, put my wife and I through college and paid every penny of it myself by managing a restaurant, bought a house, later 4 acres of land for our dream house one day and not once did I ever live in a vehicle. I worked two jobs and have done well for myself despite living in expensive California. All these young bums who would rather wander the streets and live in a vehicle so they can abuse substances and not work full time is nothing to be proud of.

      Not everyone wants those things. Winning and failing at life mean different things to different people. As long as someone is not hurting others why should you care? And so long as they are happy they are winning. The life script you were sold is bogus man. You don't have to get married have kids buy a house to be happy and win at life.

    It's only desirable if u dont have to do it. As someone who was living out of a vehicle due to my own actions its a terrible way of life. Traveling all the time is incredibly expensive and significantly harder on your body, your car, your family and your soul.

    • @Tobynsocks
      @Tobynsocks 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cars need regular maintenance so at any point or anytime your vehicle could fail that doesn't happen very often with houses. this is why we live in houses. I guess it wouldn't be that bad if you wanted to travel for a summer what's the weather going to be days when it's wicked hot out or when it's raining really really hard and you're going to be stuck inside that vehicle and your air conditioning might not work just like this guy's heat failed and it easily could have cost him his life

    Out here in California it’s way to difficult to get your own place. There’s always someone better at your job or career. Not saying it’s hard to make money it’s just hard to make “easy money” enough to buy a home and essentials. Back in the day before the 2000s people with regular jobs could afford rent. Now you need like a 6 figure job to survive. Lucky I bought a home when I was 19 because I was lucky enough with my job and being the best at the time but I know how the struggle is. Currently I’m only 21 years old and I can see why people struggle these days… working from the bottom to the top are more difficult than it was 30+ years ago. People gotta stop being so ignorant just cuz they’re up..
