Today we are on the war within beta having a look at the Elemental shaman rework. We are going to be looking at the class + spec tree and everything new added. Also testing out the new talents and seeing how they play.

Hey m8! Thanks for a relevant review. As i observe, they kept the icycle-frost shock thingy? I found this highly unpleasant in DF, can you specify, in the video, ice fury seems to be like an instant cast? Is it a proc or they reworked it to pair perfectly with fshock?

Lava burst has a chance to change frost shock into IF. But you don’t have to take IF at all anymore you can go full into Fire and do more then fine.

Spent 4 hours testing tonight. Elemental feels SO much better now with these changes. And big props for the Earthquake at target choice node. Elemental feels elemental again with fire frost earth and nature damage!

I want slower lava bursts that hit harder. I will unleash elements followed by lava burst

i tried it too and honestly..i was bored after half a dungeon. its kinda the same and feels the same although they changed many things...nothing special or different. but could be me :D

Cheers and hope my testing goes better I usually enjoy ele just lacking that BIG cooldown was always my issue

Tbh i might switch to shaman. Ive always liked shaman just never really gave them a try.

You should make sure to do a full fire build and no IF at all it is really nice. I hate IF

I don't mind the talent now tbh it felt a bit wonky before with having to cast it then having to find a way to spend 4 charges outside of lava bursts/ele blasts but now it feels a lot better with insta cast and 2 charges per.

Looks like they got rid of ancestors for elemental. You're out here spawning none of them.

earthen rage and thunder ward literally absolutely useless.... 18k dmg where people have like 5m hp LOL
