      Not simple at all! I spent 5 hours overall making these sesame bars...first the overall mix was too runny, once I poured it out..it didn’t get hard at all...second try, I added more sugar and sesame seeds to the same mix, well it thickened a bit but man that thing stuck like glue to the foil (I didn’t have baking paper, even though I put oil on it). I threw half of it away, at the end looked more like sesame flapjack lol

    Hi there! I bought a soft and chewy version of this. However, I don’t know what it’s called. I just bought it beside the mosque and it taste so good and not too sweet. Do you have that version? Can’t find any recipe of it anywhere.

    What about adding tahini to the casserole dish instead of oil?

    • @SmileyGirl230
      @SmileyGirl230  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well u can add tahini instead of oil a little bit because I thing u will taste it with the sesame bars but it’s not a bad idea , tahini also can be used in sweets .

    I'm allergic to honey can I just use sugar?

    • @SmileyGirl230
      @SmileyGirl230  ปีที่แล้ว

      I never try it without honey but I thing with sugar will be so caramelised and hard to eat it it will works better if u substitute the honey with maple syrup or simple syrup if u can eat it .

    Hello dear can I use just sugar without honey☺️??

    • @SmileyGirl230
      @SmileyGirl230  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ROTCHIE ADONA no sorry it doesn’t work with sugar only syrup . The texture may vary from chewy to crisp. If u used sugar you have to caramelised the sugar it will be so hard like crystal .

    Looovely! I need to make these instead of buying. Thanks for showing me how to!I like the ones with coconut in as well so might add that. Do I need more honey if adding dry coconut, do you think?? Or reduce/use less sesame instead? X

    • @SmileyGirl230
      @SmileyGirl230  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1
