Kathy Beaty making the statement of sexual websites is completely inappropriate that is child abuse it is mental torcher to the innocence of the child regardless of her maturity. Accusing her of doing something so ridiculous is totally uncalled for if anything it was Kathy Beaty who was acting pervertedly by making these accusations 🤬

The accountability software they tried using on Josh Duggar could have been installed I highly doubt a ten year old child would know how to get around it , if they're so worried about a ten year old accessing porm ! The kid is laying in bed all day that makes it child abuse .

Yeah bc it’s impossible that kids exposed to adult content early in life go on adult sites 🙄 the denial of CSA while accusing Beaty of SA is contradictory.

I cried a lot watching this on Netflix. I couldn't believe this is happening, just couldn't understand how an institution supposed to help this family destroyed their lives . The hospital staff who separated Maya and her family during the most crucial time of her health for the money they could get from the bills they charged. So funny, the doctors refute diagnosis of the previous doctors but bill her of the same illness...... funny....nurses and doctors who are so arrogant , feeling stupidly brilliant not considering that Maya's mom is also a nurse, who knew the health problems of her beloved child and should be the one to take good care of her. And huh, the judge who didn't allow the mother to hug her child. .......😢😢😢They killed her, they left her no choice, the whole family is devastated. Everyone could see the struggle of this family. Justice for this family! What else to prove of the injustice done?

I agree with you 100%. That mother was put in a bad place don't want to make people think she was doing such stuff to that little girl her own child. Well all the time she was looking for answers because she herself had never seen nothing like what her child was going through in the hospital's before. I am wondering why the risk management staff at the hospital can inflict photos of a half naked child and the staff social worker seems to be fine to say that she was just doing what she was told with no regard to social worker standards of care.
CYA is no excuse for traumatizing a minor child in their custody.

As a pedi nurse, this breaks my heart! No child should’ve gone through this. Someone should’ve advocated for her during the time in the hospital. Like was there a doctor or nurse that didn’t agree with what was going on that could’ve fought for the betterment of her care ? Being a child in the hospital alone and secluded is horrible 😢 I just want to give this girl a hug. This is why nursing is so much more than just a job that pays the bills. You have to really pay attention to your patients & advocate for them at all times. I’m not understanding how this slipped through the cracks. I know each person that walked into her room knew the back story so why was nothing done for her ? I don’t care I would’ve put anyone in their place if needed no matter the role they played. This makes me mad . Fight for your kids ❤ even if no one else will. Her mom was in the right because clearly you can see the type of people the child had advocating for her in the hospital. You can be nice & sweet as a nurse but you also have to stand up for your kid too. I see you & I hear you Maya 💗💗💗💗💗

It should be. When doctors knowingly lie or put their own best interests above a patients, especially a child, it should be criminal. There is no need to lie. If a doctor truly believes that a child is being abused then report it, but be willing to admit you are wrong when the evidence doesn't match up. I do not understand why the father - or any of the other witnesses - would not have reviewed all of his notes, etc., to refresh his memory on such complex matters all these years later knowing he'd need to testify. I have this horrible incurable disease. It has destroyed much of my life. I sued a well known health food store where a damaged door fell onto my foot fracturing it & the nails sticking out of the bottom of the door went into the top of my foot. Then I fell back slamming my left hand into a hard countertop to break the fall. That was the end of my life as I knew it. My muscles are wasting away & it can spread to the other hand & foot. My foot has black marks across my toes & the rest of my foot up to 1/2 way up my calve is purple & dark red & mottled. It is one of the worst pain syndromes there is. Constant pain. Some people's hearts give out because of the unrelenting pain & stress to the body. There are so many symptoms that it takes pages to even list them & describe them. My left hand always wants to curl inward like a lobster claw & so do the toes on my right foot. When I sleep I wake up from my hand being totally clenched & my foot curling forward. If I straighten out my hand quickly, the tendons are pulled. Once I was getting out of my car, straightened my fingers & screamed from a tendon being pulled in the middle of my hand. I was doubling over sobbing. There was a big lump there & I had to get an injection in the middle of my hand. I did not leave my house for 3 months after that because I was so worried that it would happen again & I would end up screaming around people in a store or somewhere else in public. There are muscle contortions so violent that my toes were almost fractured & my entire foot jerked all the way sideways to the point of almost snapping./breaking. That is just some of the issues people with CRPS live with. I won't do Ketamine infusions. One of my best friends died after receiving one. Also, it causes some people to have complete psychotic breaks.

He did great! Dont get me wrong! And im POSITIVE this is all very overwhelming. But if he was more familiar with what was needed from him (better prepared by his lawyer), this all would have gone more smoothly. And i cant really even blame the lawyer. I just heard about this case, how horrific! I am commenting on an inaccurate statement that was made on the video. The victims family, specifically the daughter Rhonda, didn’t want the death penalty given. She actually got on the stand and said that. She said her mother would not have wanted a punishment of death either.

Can someone please be kind enough to answer my question as other Attorneys not affiliated with this trial has me confused with their analysis. I thought Miss Beatty has her own Company or Private practice as works like a freelance journalist for an example. So why are they saying she works for the hospital? Does she get paid by the hospital? And lastly if she was asked by a Dr. @ the hospital to come & give her expert opinion whether or not Maya's Mother has Munchhousen by Proxy why isn't Miss Beatty being sued? And is she the person who is reporting what's happening with the Mother to the Judge? Our Medical System here isn't privatized so it gets a little confusing. I'm sure I've missed some testimony. The questions the Jurors asked tells me she will win. I don't know if the jury can adjust the sum if they don't agree with the amount or not? Thank you, Ontario, 🇨🇦

I'm sure she'll win some amount of money if not all but the hospital is likely to Appeal the verdict then it can drag out for years. Because if a lower Court says their verdict stands they can appeal this all the way to the Supreme Court! If that happens the Defense will most likely offer to settle out of Court for less but cover all Attorneys fees & Court costs & still she will walk away with millions & if that does happen she'd be best to accept it the stress & years it could take would be unbearable. Ontario, 🇨🇦 Unless this is a case to which they can't file an Appeal!

She doesn’t need ketamine. Her mom was giving her enough to kill someone. It is not a drug for children. Her mother obtained prescriptions by fraud and wanted the hospital to do surgery and put a port by her spine for ketamine. Obviously, the hospital had major concerns.

Her mother was a nurse and a good one. I'm a nurse and as a nurse you become very protective of loved ones and friends when in the ER and you feel no one is listening. Some of the staff, I'm sure got their feathers ruffled. That put a whole new spin on what's written in the notes. I've seen this...I worked ER. The hospital was advising DCF throughout the entire case. The courts/judge was dependent on the hospital's evaluation and opinion. That being said this court case is based on a few days Maya was held in the hospital prior to the courts shelter order and the acts of hospital staff outside of the court orders. It's a very nuanced case that is going to take months to complete.
