Well said, Anthony! Just adding to what you wrote songs like "I Ran" was what made MTV what it was back in the 1980's. Unfortunately since about the early 1990's MTV has become a ghost of it's former self and I had to quit watching it. Now I come to TH-cam when I want to see a music video of the past. Phayzyre105 -- Someone, a few years ago online, very correctly commented that TH-cam is the new MTV/VH1 in the 21st Century. It is truly twisted that a video here can rake up 5 million views, but the song/single will barely net repeated plays on the radio. To think that much of the original, great visual material made in the '70s, '80s, and '90s have been stowed away and relegated to MTV2 and Classic VH1 seems antithetical to what the original channels were committed to. Thank goodness for TH-cam.

This was the first song I ever heard on a compact disc. My brother and I came home from school and mum got a small Phillips CD player, the kind with a push-to-open door on the top, out of the airing cupboard and popped this on. We stood there and listened in silence, it seemed such an alien sound to us, having grown up on a diet of copied and stretched Led Zeppelin and Beatles tapes. I can remember it like it was yesterday. It would have been around '99. R.I.P Mum.

    I walked along the avenue

    Meet a girl like you
With auburn hair and tawny eyes
The kind of eyes that hypnotize me through
    Hypnotize me through
And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I ran all night and day
    I couldn't get away
A cloud appears above your head
A beam of light comes shining down on you
    Shining down on you
The cloud is moving nearer still
    Aurora borealis comes in view
    Aurora comes in view
And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I ran all night and day
    I couldn't get away
Reached out a hand to touch your face
You're slowly disappearing from my view
    'Pearing from my view
Reached out a hand to try again
I'm floating in a beam of light with you
A beam of light with you
And I ran, I ran so far away
I just ran, I ran all night and day

I am not a musician but it was such a joy to see the musical notes used. It made me more feel deeply connected to the song. I didn't wait till the end before I saved it and pressed replay!

The feeling this music gave me was out of this world and hopeful at the same time. I still enjoy hearing it.

Just saw this by accident when trying to show my daughter Mike’s hair... this is so awesome! Having the band show (with musical notation, tab, and chord diagrams, no less!) is just incredible. I LOVED this album when I was a teenager, and I love seeing the guys showing how to play this!
    Such a class act!!

The whole band sounds awesome. Mike Score can sing as good now as he did 30 years ago. Its the Florida air i believe...keeping us both young. Thanks for posting

It’s 2021 and I think it still sounds ‘cool, fresh’. I hope children listen to it and love it as much as I do.
