    I was tripping out during the 4 sensor example. But, then I remembered the ohms law equation!

    Awesome video, I went to school for HVAC a couple of years ago and I had no idea what this little box does hanging in my home office. I opened the cover and saw the thermistor and im like hmmmm…time for TH-cam. Very helpful video. 👍🏻 thumbs up for my friend.

    I don't see in the menus how to get the sensors to average. Is this just automatic? How do you set the Thermostat to use either the thermo or the remote unit? OR average both?

    Great video! Instead of using remote sensors, would it be possible to simply wire multiple digital thermostats in parallel to control a system? If so, it seems like this would enable better control, as the individual thermostats could be set to different temperatures to determine when a "zone" should be considered when calling for space conditioning. For example, in heating mode, if I didn't care about a certain "zone" receiving heat, I could set back the corresponding thermostat's set point as far down as possible or set it to OFF. I've heard that this won't work if the t-stats have anticipators, but could it work with digital thermostats without anticipators? And, how would I determine whether the thermostat has an anticipator? Thanks again!

    I recommend only using the wireless Honeywell red link for multiple sensors. Why would anybody want the nightmare of running wiring throughout a home nonetheless the cost for homeowner to pay the labor cost.

      @@stevebbkny2394 True but they do last along time. Our contractor prewired our sensors and there is no access to the junction box to see what they did in connecting wires.
      We had problem a month or two ago and the HVAC Tech could not find any readings at the remote sensors or from the hardwired remote sensors, IF there is a junction box it's buried behind the drywall and we'd have to tear out the wall to inspect it. Plus the sensors should be mounted lower as the registers are in the celing not floor or lower wall. I think easier to just replace the wired sensors with wireless. Right now just running off the T Stat built in sensor. But back of house is an ice box colder than front of house which gets more sun and is hotter by st least 4 degrees. We end up opening and closing register louvers to adjust heat and A/C flow.
