As someone who started playing in 1.0 the only issue I really have is (as far as I can tell) there isn’t a way to see what level I caught a TemTem at. This leads me wondering with some of them how far away I am from evolving.
@conrad featherstone yeah it's not in the tempedia or anything. This is very important info to know. Even if it's just like the number of levels they need to evolve. We can do the math ourselves
I feel like the tem profiles in general need more. I’d like to have a full model to turn around, what level I caught it at, maybe where I caught it at…
You can look up the locations they spawn and at which lvls they appear in those areas. And then it's basically up to your memory, remembering the area. (World)
Almost to 50k subs my dude you’re a beast also I’m so glad you put this video I had no idea about this! But I honestly like this way of evolving it makes feel more like an anime where you have to actually battle and bond with your Tem, before they just evolve just because, man TemTem is next level and there is so much fun to be had it’s not just a monster tamer it’s so much more I bring my Switch everywhere now no joke!! TemTem on the go LETSSSSSSGOOOOOOOOOO 😤😤😤🔥🔥🔥
Hey Ed, have you heard of Puffpals: Island Skies? Its a cute farming game that seems to have some kind of monster aspect but it seems way to early to tell. However, I found it so adorable that I figured maybe others will too.
Is it true that cancelling evolution nets the Temtem 20% extra XP gain until it is manually evolved? It says so on the Wiki but content creators don't seem to be mentioning it so I'm wondering if it no longer applies in 1.0?
It depends on the starter, I think. Temtem wiki has all the info you need but if you want spoiler free, houchic and smazee need +29 levels and crystle needs +30.
I understand that this is meant for new players but don't you think we already have 10 of those guides on the internet while there is not a single one explaining how to set up stall, aggro or status team? Or how to use an Heater Tulcan or Support Amphatyr?
I'm not a competitive player. I legit cover dozens of games lol for me to be competitive in all of them is just not feasible. But hey if you're super good at comp why don't u make some videos and help support the community too!! 🤟
Also I don't watch other peoples guides in prep for my videos, I'm assuming most of these guides are old and might not include the info about the minimonolith and such. Either like you said its for new people. If you have some cool comp strats I'd love to hear them on my discord
Not a smart mechanic… I mean, you are pushed to not try new monsters because the team you catch from the start evolves faster, so why would you change for a high lv temtem that needs exhaustive grinding to evolve? The whole point of this genre of game is to collect and try all the different monsters and this mechanic push you away from the fun. I’ve dropped the game long time ago because it’s just not fun for me, it’s way too hard and exhausting.
@@phoenixrose1995 For the most part, yeah. Pokemon really is the king of creature design, though I do think other jrpgs also have creat monster design, like shin megami tensei, though the focus is different.

Exactly. I wish there was a place where you could see at what level you obtained a mon. Would help so much!

Just started playing TemTem! Keep the vids coming.
I love all the new status conditions. This is all so different from Pokémon.
I have a very hard time remembering the weaknesses though.
Thank you for this vid Ed! This is a giant help!
Much appreciated! Having just come from Coromon to Temtem, I really love that the creatures can evolve mid battle

Wow. The nostalgia. I remembered subscribing to you Ed because of Temtem!
I love that evolution idea much better!

Love your vids man⭐⭐⭐⭐
This should be getting way more likes and comments
How temtem evolves becomes apparent. To me, now I just need to know which temtem evolve and how much level that one need to evolve or special ones
So is it best to find low level TemTem to evolve them?
I've been watching your Tem stuff for awhile but wasn't subbed. Anyways, excited for the new stuff.
Thanks for the sub! hahaha

what is the game at the ending?
Isn’t the multiplier for exp lower for evolved temtem? Cuz I think I saw a post that talked about not evolving till 99.
That is correct. As for how big the modifier is I am not sure. Every bit does help however, I doubt it would be higher than 10% if even that.😅
Still waiting coromon full version please answer this
I feel u
It’s already out on steam and on the Nintendo !
Gym Leader Ed What about the starter? How many times would they need to evolve

I want tem tem so bad!
My dude can you do a new how to find shiny or luma every video I see is so old
he has one out for luma hunting just recently, within this week.
@@cassascorner611 I know but it’s not like for us new players if you get what I’m saying
Unfortunately I don’t believe their is a reliable way to Luma hunt until you progress farther into the story
is there any reason to delay evolution?
more xp. i should've mentioned it in this video, i mentioned it in my tips and tricks and i guess the two scripts meshed together in my brain ;(
@@GymLeaderEd so in a way it would be worth delaying evolution and then just evolving it whenever you want?
Is there a benefit to cancelling evolution?
The temtem get more exp.
@@cassascorner611 oh OK thank you I've just been evolving
Nice

It was meant to be harder, but since 1.0 launch, they decreased the grind by increasing exp and reducing mandatory battles.
@@cassascorner611 think I’m gonna give it a try, maybe it’s better now
Coromon
Digimon
Monster Crown
Monster Sanctuary
Nexomon
Pokémon
Temtem
The game looks retty fun, though the designs mostly feel like bargain bin fakemon.
You could say that about every single monster hunting game lol

Digimons are the best 😃😎👍
I mean digimon is thicc too lol
Evolution in TemTem is too confusing, in my opinion. I think Pokemon got it right with set levels.
Me too.
