when recording your loop, you can set the amount of steps to record. (bottom left RLEN) Looks like you did a good job of doing it manually though! ;)
Yeah that was almost the coolest feature of the whole 1.5 release!
great video man, i really enjoyed listening to how you explained the process and the pros/cons of 1.5. Awesome work!
Thank you and glad to help!
New digitakt owner here this was super helpful so thanks!
Great to hear!
What if I need a beat in 6/8? How to do that?
Can it play random samples from slices?
Yeah for sure except the main sample would have to have a bunch of little samples in it kind of like the OP-1 drum samples. But if you sample one big long sample with different sounds in it then you could easily slice it up and have it play random slices from it.
If someone doesn’t show me how to record chromatically or record the actual slices down when in slice mode then I will end up reading the manual at this rate😮
You mean activate live record and play the slices or play them chromatically?
This is great. No succulent plants needed. 🪴🌱🪴🌱
It gets to the meat and talks about resampling. I really was curious about that. Very excited to try this out.
Also @9:10 Good tip about using 64 slices to find one shots. Thanks.
