Absolutely amazing video. I absolutely loved it. I am a fan of your channel. I just clicked on it. I am retired, garbageman disabled, living in Northern California and I am fascinated with East Anglia coastline. I love seeing different towns there but the eroding ocean cliff is amazing the way you did your Vlog is absolutely professional , I was able to read it you didn’t just flash on the screen and on and take them off. Thank you so much. I am looking forward to watching more of your work. Thank you for a beautiful video and for all your hard work.
Thank you for watching. I am really glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for letting me know where my video is reaching. I’m glad to hear you are fascinated with the east Anglian coast line.I must say, I am fascinated with the amazing national parks in the south west USA
I am lucky enough to live in Norfolk in Norwich, my wife and I walk on our Norfolk coast every week, There is the beauty also of walking a couple of miles inland, what we do is normally stop and have lunch at a village church, then explore the inside, a lot of these churches are nearly a thousand years old, most are full of history. A grave over five hundred years old in a church common. Thank you for loving my coastline.
That is a brilliant video you have posted really enjoyed it and it is so good of you to document the changes. Having holidayed in that area since the late seventies and looking back on old photo,s and video,s we have seen first hand the devastation caused by the sea it is so sad. Thanks again Martin.
BRILLIANT.... 😊 we were there (in "Haysboro" this afternoon) spookily. Amazing place, very windy, and beautiful. Deserted, which was great. Thanks to your vid, we'll go back this week and explore some more. (We're on our hollybobs in East Ruston). 😊... looking fwd to watching more ... Thanks a lot.
@QuietlyExploring We loved your vid, the end part too (was that a drone or were you on a mountain bike?). Anywhere near here that you recommend must see 💯 for a visit? Ta much. 😊
@Dentyden2011 sorry for the late reply. I don’t use this account very often. No I don’t have a drone . The shot was just done with the camera attached to a pole
For twenty-one years I worked at the nearby gas terminal, and saw the lighthouse every time I drove to work, but had never visited the village. After i retired my wife and I visited, stopping on the cliff top for a pic-nik. We watched people on the beach below but the best thing was watching the seals people watching just a few feet away. Sadly that cliff top has now moved back several meters.
Another wonderful video. Please try to make sure your words are spelled right. It makes it more professional but please continue these beautiful trips you take. I do have to turnoff at the end though when the music comes on and you zoom around with the camera.
Why does the government not provide concrete structures like the ones designed by a South-African man to prevent coastal erosion? They were called "dolosse" and are used all along the South African coast.
Why dont the government do what they did at sea palling, i just don’t get it, I’ve been visiting these parts of Norfolk since i was a kid, sea palling has survived, we need these beautiful villages surviving as well.
Yep your right, as i said, we spent most of our holidays in Norfolk and seen some massive changes, i got family in Waxham, Martham, Wroxham, love the place, explored all up that side of the coast, in fact was up there about 6 weeks ago out on me bike and saw Happisburgh and whats going on, real shame, such a pity the councils wont help instead of wasting money on other stuff that i wont mention. Keep safe 👍🏻👍🏻

Loneliness, remoteness, and the relentless passage of time. Very atmospheric video.
Thank you

It is such a shame but at least you have some good memories. Thanks for watching

I can’t believe that the government is going to let the whole of Norfolk wash away into the sea! So much for housing people and responsibility.
Love it, well done 👍
Thank you 👍

I think the government does not fund sea defence any more.it’s up to the council naw . It is such a shame,it’s a fantastic place
