Yes, yes, yes. Agreed. Now have 2. Even if I weren't a Laconico fanboy, it would still register as one of the best EDC's I've handled. The damascus version has an even thinner grind.

@@cyphersuit1 Not sure what you mean. I have the plain one in 14c28n as well as the Damascus version. All my Civivi knives in Damascus have blades thinner than their straight steel counterparts. I think it's because they are made the same dimensions but after being etched and refinished they end up slightly thinner. I noticed this in my Sokoke, Dogma, Elementum and Cogent models.

Wife got me one for valentines (we celebrated this weekend due to work). I only have good things to say. It is in my pocket now. Really good value for all the features (contoured, nested liner, design). Never got the We Espirit because of budget, but always really liked the design and wanted one. This is a great budget alternative for me!

I got one last Friday and I haven't been able to keep it out of my pocket. Absolutely love it. I highly recommend the linen micarta. Might even pick up the g10 one as well.

Bought one with the brown micarta on the secondary, hasn't arrived yet. Love Laconico designs and am hoping I can look past the bead blast finish. We and Civivi need to cut it out with that crap. Stonewash all day for users.

I can’t wait to get this, I love Lacanico designs. I still wanna get the Esprit but this will hold me over for a few. You can hear the beautiful detent on that when it closes.

I am a big fan of Ray Laconico designs and own several. The Esprit is one of the best knives in my collection so a budget knife much like the Esprit is tempting. My knife budget is a bit limited this year but the Sokoke is on my short list.

I recently picked up the burlap micarta handle version and it does seem more like burlap g10 but I actually love it. It's a really nice handle material. So far, I love the knife. I'd say one my fav Civivi's. I'm not crazy about the front flipper. I think I'd like it even more with just the thumb studs. I like the knife so much that I'm thinking about getting a 2nd one and I'm going to add the titanium milled pocket clip to both of them. This truly is a great knife. Probably my fav Civivi with the Conspirator being a close 2nd.
I have a hard time choosing between my Conspirator and my Sokoke!! I think I favor the Sokoke, though, because it's newer.

I also already had e feeling that this Knife with its Design, Materials, Price etc. will be a very hard to beat Model for 2023. I bet there will be an updated or even upgraded edition of it. the only thing i am truly missing on it is a steel insert for the Pocket-Clip. Otherwise love mine.

TRM just came out with Burlap Micarda scales for their Atom and Neutron.. How do they compare to G10 or regular micarda. Are they slick or grippy?
