Ace Healer, I’d have to rewatch all of the GX anime series in the subbed to see if I liked Judai as much as I like Kaiba, Jounouchi, and Yugi in the season 0 anime/season 0 movie, and I’ve always liked Kaiba, Jounouchi, and Yugi the most out of any Yu-Gi-Oh characters whenever season 0 was first made.

Actually Yugi dressed relatively normally before he met Yami. Also in the manga Yami is a 15-16 year old who was murdered several thousands years ago, he is functionally a kid with a brotherly relationship with Yugi.

@@marocat4749 , I honestly don’t know why Atem is the evil Yugi from Ancient Egypt because the most evil thing Atem did in Duel Monsters was try to convince Kaiba into committing suicide whereas in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! unaired Season 0 series he was like a weirds hybrid of Dexter and Jigsaw from the Saw films, so that made far more logical sense as to why Atem was the evil Ancient spirit.

That'd just make things too crazy, everyone and their mom would have gone through a yami no game (Shadow Game? I've only watched the subs of season 0 and they're kind of spotty) in their lifetime.
Also as for Jounouchi's accent. His mom isn't his only parent! His dad also exists. Was season 0 the only time we saw his dad?

Y'know Atem died when he was the same age as Yugi and was basically comatose until Yugi completed the puzzle. So he's only maybe a year older than Yugi.
Also, funnily enough. I'd say Joey has the best made deck of all three.
Being a new player with out much money. Joey had to rely on janky cards since the best ones were outside his price range.
But when you look at what he's working with, his deck is actually super versatile. Cards like Flame Swordsman, and Axe Raider are hella strong for their level, Kunai With Chain, Copycat, Rocket Warrior and Scapegoat work in a variety of situations and even his luck cards can be used in just about any scenario.
Kaiba meanwhile has a tonne of bricks, signature cards like Crush Virus that actually compete with his decks main theme, and cards that are dead draws unless you draw them EXACTLY together (Flute of Summoning Dragon, Polymerization ect.)
Kaiba relies on combos, but lacks an engine to actually run those combos consistently.
He's honestly SUPER lucky that he doesn't just constantly brick
Yugi is kinda bricky too, but his deck isn't awful. He at least has a lot of great spell and traps that are always useful (Mirror Force, Swords of Revealing Light, Hexagram Curse). You can make a half decent deck using his cards.

3:37 Yami Yugi is the King of Games. Kazuki Takahashi chose Yami Yugi to be the hero Yugi transforms into who would defeat villains in numerous games. Yugi didn't become the King of Games after defeating Yami Yugi. Look up Kaz's story plot of Spherium II (a possible future story). It is proof Yugi wasn't the King of Games because he literally says it.

this is the first video i have seen of your channel, and i absolutely love it. so much. It is wonderful watching and rewatching this again. seeing someone who doesn't know about Yugioh or trying to piece together what they DO know about the show, is VERY interesting. Considering how much of a mess it is XD (I love it, but the anime pales in comparison to how the original manga was. i haven't gotten through anything past the Original. I have yet to decide if i should go through GX but from what I have seen of 5D has me interested. but the more hype that Mel talks about GX... i...might?)
