I hate how scientists named Dh5 alpha as alpha even though it DOES NOT have alpha fragment. I always forget where the alpha and Omega genes are.😅😤

The omega comes from the bacterial strain which has only omega subunits and the alpha and omega together form an active beta galactosidase
