Anytime! They are honestly great bikes. I commute with mine and this week put 600 miles on it. Never had a break down in 30k miles
Good job brother !!!!!!

Sweet deal, ride safe!
@@twowheeledangler5862I tried changing my motorcycle oil and it would drain and then after that nothing else would come out still had oil in the tank it wouldn’t come out anymore
@@markell6182 was it your main reservoir or your primary chain drive?
Good video thanks
So 20w50 is ok in the primary 😮 I would of never thought the same oil in engine oil was same as the transmission. Way different from car! Thanks friend
They recommend 80W-140 for the transmission
I put oil line and had to take gear cover off n one of gears poped out when casing came off. So idk how it went on so i stoped till some1 reies it waa gear that has hump in it the reaches piston rod
My lucky day, i found you….. thanks for showing how to…..
You don’t know how much it means to hear that!
i did two of the three.
Also -what type of oil filter did you use?
I used wix, I’ve had good results with them. I’ve put another 12k on this bike since I filmed. Great machines
Hello, I do like your video. I agree that Haley Davidson oil is overpriced so I purchased Lucus Racing full synthetic 20-50 wt. oil. However, the owner's manual states that if you are not using Harley Davidson H-D 360 Oil you are to use oil certified for diesel engines with acceptable designations include CH-4, CI-4, and CJ-4. Do you have any comment or knowledge of this. It does not make sense to me.
I honestly have no clue. I’ve never used any of that, but I’m sure there are forums where people discuss their experiences with those.
The 20-50wt should work just fine. That’s what I use and I’ve put 23k on my bike with that oil, it works great! I use mobile one though
is this normal The manual says refill 3.6 qts for my 05 Harley 1200 sportster custom but it looked pretty full after about 2.5 and the oil light turned off (turns back on when I turn key and off after i hit power)
3 quarts is what is recommended on most forums, the 3.6 quarts is for a dry change or a brand new engine
@@twowheeledangler5862 so if it looks full ( afraid of it spilling out ) after 2.5 should i just leave it be ?
@@m.j.vazquez4720 I would see what it says on the dip stick.
@@twowheeledangler5862 thanks filled up to full 3 just fine
@@m.j.vazquez4720 good! Glad to hear it, ride safe!
Use a peice of aluminum foil to put where the filter is so it can run off the draining oil
You’ve just made my day…. I never thought to do that. I hated cleaning up all the oil on my bike. Thanks!
Hello, are you interested in making a test product about Harley foot pegs?
Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond, but yes I would be interested
what year is the bike?
This is a 2005
He didn’t prime the oil filter
I mean I could. But it being sideways on the bike makes it difficult
Drain plugs get Orings not watcher.
The primary case gets a washer and the main engine oil gets an O-ring
