I love this channel, not only for the beautiful content, but for the adorable way that you two interact with each other. You appear to have the most sincere love and respect for each other, and that is so refreshing to watch.
Roodle looked wiped out😂 He’s going to make a great trail doggie ☺️ I love how you guys give facts & information about the amazing places you find. It’s also wonderful that you encourage us to visit. You guys have a great channel. Thank you! 😊
Roodle was having a down day that hike, he is currently back to his regular energetic self happy to say. Both Carrie and I love to be helpful and meet people along the way. We would love to see you out here sometime and hope you enjoy the experience as much as we do. 👱♂️👩🐕
FYI: the 2006 debris flow was triggered by a breach in the terminal moraine beneath the glacier. Many glaciers have small lakes beneath them. With the breach, instantly a massive flood of water was released from the unseen lake.
Absolutely beautiful guys. We are dying down here in these triple digit temperatures. Heat index hit 116 this week, actual temp was 109. We almost died 5 times lol
I honestly don't know how you can survive in that kind of heat! You must have to be next to a pool or lake at all times. What's the secrete to sleeping when it's a hot night? Do you have plans to travel to cooler weather soon? Take care and try to stay cool.
Pretty sure I damaged the gimble on that flight. 😂 I have to recalibrate and fly on cinematic mode now just to steady the camera. It's just about time for a new drone. I hope you're getting some work done on your build. Drink plenty of water and keep cool when you can.😎
@@oneadVANtureatatime the snow ❄ looks so inviting. Its too bad about the drone, you always have excellent footage. The build is so sloooooow because of the weather here. Looks like you are going to need some bear 🐻 spray soon. Signed always envious 😉
Another great boondocking spot! I used to live in the Portland area for 20+ years, so it’s weird seeing you guys there. That scene where you travel over the Willamette was my daily commute. On clear days like that, I would look over at Mt Hood wistfully, thinking: how can I get a job close to Ski Bowl or the Lodge? It appears that you guys are living the life!
Such a great video for taking a heat break! So glad you were able to help and visit friends. Wow, that view! stunning area to camp. You are going backpacking...woohoo!!!! I'm Idaho! Can't wait to see those videos. You guys are making me want to get my backpack out. Lol. Way to go Roodle....he is doing great. Love all the rocks in that landscape. The trees are cool too. First drone attempt, lol. Glad you were finally able to get it up....the shots were amazing. No crashing is good 😊 That whole landscape is really interesting..the views!!! Roodle at the end, lol. Such a great spot! Loved the video! Xo😀
We just spent 2 days in Sand Point Idaho visiting family! We love your state! Carrie is shooting a wedding in Walla Walla, Wa. At the end of the Month and then we are heading back to Idaho. Can't wait! We hope to backpack in the Sawtooth range. This is going to be an awesome summer! We just need to avoid the heat 😎
Thank you, Roger! We did make it up to Timberland lodge and it was quite impressive. They still had snow and many were skiing! There were several nice waterfalls just in the drive up. The parking lot was fairly full with plenty of vanlifers. 😎
Wow 72 I’m jealous it’s been triple digits here for weeks with no end in sight. Haven’t seen your inappropriate walking stick in awhile 😂. Carrie your are awesome.
Triple digits sound like dirty words! 😂 You two are going to have to hunker down and maybe cool off in the pool to survive this next heatwave. ...ok, so I have been slacking on the hiking stick because Oregon and Washington have got me interested in wild edibles and mushroom hunting. So many fun things to do and so little time 😎
By now you guys must be acclimated to the altitudes of those western areas but this Florida flat lander begins to breath hard as you hike up and down those trails! I can run 7 miles on the beach here on our little island but FEAR those mountain hikes (but so want to do them one day)! Maybe I’ll hire Roodle to be my pack dog! 😁🤙 Thanks for sharing!
Great video guys. I appreciate the fact that this isn’t another Boondocking video of 20 minutes of somebody talking to the camera in front of their RV. I was waiting for you to end this video with a lunch or what you had for dinner but man, if you did that I don’t know what we would do! Thanks again for the awesome video!
Another beautiful spot with awesome photos. I was tired just watching you guys hike🤪 I love the beautiful spots you share and all the info provided. Someday I want to visit all the places you guys go to. One day,,,,, Stay safe and healthy 🚐😷❤️
We really need to be out hiking more with a backpacking trip coming up in August 😜 We look forward to you finally getting to hit the road! Until then we will keep trying to add to your must-see travel list. 😎
Another awesome video y’all. I love the drone footage. Are they hard to learn to fly? Do you have to get permission to fly at state parks? Keep them adVantures coming 😊
Turns out that a wind gust that day damaged my gimbal. I can still fly but have to recalibrate and fly on cinematic mode to steady the camera now. A new drone might be in our future soon. 😎
@@oneadVANtureatatime I tried finding your email. I would love having you on one of my live streams one day. We have a lot of travelers. RVers, Van Lifers, Truck campers and more. Let me know if you can. My email is on my about page.

What a cool hike! Another spot going on our boondocking list. 😀 How long is your backpacking trip going to be? Do you guys go by any kind of schedule or do you just play it by ear? The only schedule we plan to have is to follow the nice weather. 😁 Can't wait to see Idaho!!
We love not having a schedule! But right now we have a wedding to shoot in Washington and then meeting some friends in Portland. Then we are back to Idaho! No schedule is the best. 😎

Thank you so much for your kind comment. We are trying to focus on the beautiful surroundings in our video and not as much on our faces. 😀
That is really a raw landscape, ashy and bleak. I looks like the lava flowed just a few years ago.
It does have that look to it. Maybe it's the constant debree flows. It reminds me of some areas that I have seen as a child living in Alaska. 😀
