This takes me back to high school trying to work w these and getting that residue all over my hands. Sometimes it wouldn’t wash off completely and always show up on papers for later classes. I wish I’d found this vid sooner and would have gotten the idea to use gloves.

Same, I love drawing and have lots of oils (not sure of the quality) but I'd always say I hated using them just because I hardly practiced with them
Man I really need to get back into oil pastels. We used them in elementary school and I loved them so much so I became obsessed and used them for years and then just quit, idk why.

I love how all you hear is the sound of the pastels on the paper. No in-your-face shouting from the artist. This is so soothing (and mesmerising) to watch!
