I had forgotten about the tactility and sound of oil pastels. That little click as you lift the pastel from the paper and the daup daup daup on the paper. It's very nostalgic for me. It's made me want to dig out the oil pastels I haven't used in 20 years. Thank you!

I'm currently working on a series of Monet's Waterlilies in oil pastels. So much fun. I found it interesting that you didn't seal your oils though! If I work in oil pastel I always seal (spray sealant), otherwise they can smudge and go everywhere if you're not careful. Anyhoo, it was a gorgeous end result and I bet you're super happy with it. Congrats!
