Since Stern is so behind in manufacturing games, they need to slow down just pumping out games. Godzilla was really innovative. I’d like to see them continue the innovation with a non-licensed game. Enough band games for a while please.
I agree with you on building games but I disagree with an unlicensed theme. They just don’t make money it’s been tried. I’m waiting on a Godzilla premium and a Jurassic Park premium to be built. Told myself I wouldn’t order any more games but just ordered a rush pro. I guess I have no willpower😂

I got avengers Infinity premium and Godzilla pro but this pin looks good too. Pinball Prices are tough to swallow lately. I would love to see Stern put out original content, not Brand theme pins. Some of the best pinball machines are medieval madness and attack from Mars I know they're parodies from other movies but still original unlicenced.
Originals don't sell as much as licensed though. It's all about the bottom line. Black Knight was their last unlicensed theme they will do for a while.
12:15 I'll never own a game, but I think this Pro vs. Premium on location.. I'd be happy with a Pro. The only thing I find interesting between each model is those scoops. The VUK and everything else I could totally do without. Even the captive ball gimmick.
I think the pro is the way to go, I think the 2,000 dollar difference is not worth it. I personally think the pro cabinet looks better then the premium.

I’m so glad I got to binge Hardy’s content before my latest purchase (one I made *yesterday*). The details he points out in these release vids are at times game-savers, if not make-or-break _purchase-decision_ problems. After vetting all the new Sterns from ‘19 on (here AND in the wild), I opted for JP Premium w/a shaker motor. Cary’s analysis of the release already got me to order the Cliffys for it & the sumbitch ain’t even delivered yet. Thanks for making these, dude. I want you to know just how much pro guidance (& fair warnings/caution) yer dishin out. Prolly even more than you realize. 🤷♂️👍🤘

Great Review, really....I watched the whole thing....I still do truly think anyone wanted a Stern Pinball should pay the extra for a Premium...in the LONG run, it will sell much more easily down the road. Of course, this is just ME. The Pro does have some traction too of course (in resale)...but why buy a car without power locks and windows these days?

Hilarious, my wife and I did the same thing standing all over the house listening for what was making that beep, I even checked the alerts in the basement before we realized it was the damn video on the TV! My wife issued me an emphatic directive that she will not tolerate that sound in the house and I am with her 100%. I won't know where this pin falls on my list to get until I play one but if that sound isn't changed it totally kills a BAND MUSIC pin for me that is all about the audio.
Id like to see a rap artist getting a pinball maching like Snoop Dog, who actually happens to be a fan of pinball himself. What about a Snoop Dog "Pimp'n n PinBallin'". That would be interesting for shizzle. There are unlimited track titles that could be used. The artwork would be off the chain. Imagine being layed back chillin shooting the ball into the curling Gin and Juice ramp, or hitting the Get Dat Money pop bumpers with a cash register Cha Ching sound effects with your mind on your money and your money on your mind.. These new pinball prices got my mind on my money and my money on my mind. Also a Jimmy Hendrix pinball machine is long overdo.
Yeah my only complaint on the game is the way the band members look in the middle of the playfield.. but the rest of the game looks great and looks like it will be a blast to play
Looks like a winner shot layout wise. As a massive RUSH fan the integration looks great. 17 songs is better than I feared, but as any fan I want 10 more songs. Art is pretty good, not brilliant. Cheers!!

(Btw, I think you forgot about the cool lights on the center lotr ramp and the wireform return ramp) If you add everything up, it's a bunch of stuff. Maybe not essential stuff, but a lot, nevertheless. :D On tmnt I felt like anything other than the pro was just stupid.(personal opinion) Same with Mando. I am a fan of the band though, so maybe I am just trying to justify my Le (Le will never be a sensible thing to buy, though) Keep up the great work!
Mentioning tournament opinions.. I'm vastly beyond amateur, but that's all code in the 1 month to 2 years before Stern ships these things. I watched Rayday blow it up in the stream, but that's all stuff that won't be ironed out for a long time. He's got a master level of play on the box and an even better knowledge of the *current* code.
Pro is the way to go and it's ordered. My thoughts were exactly the same, and I am a huge Rush fan. No LEs available for me unfortunately. Great video, thanks!

I did not watch the entire stream but I will say I was excited about the pin. After watching 45 minutes my wife and I were very annoyed be the chrip noise coming from the scoup area when the ball is ejected. I'm amazed at how Stern has been designing pinball machines and miss some of the fine details on the ball getting ejected from scoup and come up with a microwave chime.....Stern should have a small amount of beta testers before they decide reveal a new pin to get their opinions on software bugs and other things they could suggest about the pin.
I see a lot of complaints about this game (and I've noticed this myself) is that all the songs are available to play at the very beginning. There is no progression (like in GNR) to accomplish tasks in order to "earn" the privilege of hearing a song. I like the way in GNR that while you are grinding to earn a song, you hear GNR music in instrumental form. In this way, the sound design is much better in GNR. Additionally, the songs in Rush are interrupted by other songs as you progress, but I suppose this is better for game flow and keeping this interesting and chaotic. That said, excited for this title.
As a GNR owner, and now Rush pro. This complaint seems like an assumption without playing it. I can tell you once you play it, the way you "jump through time" and can start modes into other songs, and Multiballs into other songs and come back out into the song you chose works great.. especially for the Rush fan. It's got my vote for twipy 2022. Gz has the hype but for me Rush is favorite band, and gz was great but the call outs, irrelevant theme (for me), and the stop start play didn't make up for the great shots, flow and rules that it has. Both great pins.
It looks like a fun game. Definitely would get one if I could afford it because I do like Rush. But that would be before I get IRON MAIDEN DEADPOOL GODZILLA many more between electrical mechanical solid state and dot matrix games. Then RUSH.

Yea I don't get the complaining about recycling mechanisms. You need to recycle mechs and maybe add one or two new ones in per game. Plus manufacturers want to use what has proven to work. I also think the Pro will play faster. I was debating between a IM Pro v Premium and really glad I got the Pro. However I thought the Godzilla Pro was a disappointment compared to the Premium.
Reusing stuff that works or cobbing older mech ideas to save on production costs. IE Chrysler using several common interior parts across several car models.. At least it isnt taking Seawitch and calling it The Beatles.... Wait newbies wouldnt know about Seawitch...lol
Fair assessment. I'm not excited by it (art is a bit lame, and the time machine ramp seems worse than pointless). It is better than Led Zep, but that's not necessarily an endorsement. Since Stern's cranking out 4 or 5 pins a year now, people can bide their time and wait for a pin that really grabs them more. I wish they would get licenses for some of the old Williams / Bally games and do some remakes like CGC. I bet they could do a killer Whitewater or maybe TOTAN reboot. Make one of their 4 or 5 games a year as reboots. That would be nice.
Pro, premium; that price raise is too much. Being a collector/kind of new but purchased NIB 6 machines makes me stop buying more just because of the price raise
They release one band IP a year. That's not bad. Original IPs don't sell as well as licensed. It's about the bottom line. Black Knight didn't sell well and that was their attempt to see how well original titles would do. It failed. So I don't see another original title for a while now.
