Like the chained hood pin combo. It’s a different look. Wondering if the chains would in any way damage the paint from the front of the car? Otherwise looks pretty cool to me.

Thanks bud I appreciate it. And the air scoop has a rod that goes down to the carburetor. So everyone time you hit the gas pedal it opens up the flaps. So all I did was open the flaps from the outside with my hand by pulling on the rod.
That’s so sick. I was wondering the same thing and saw someone had asked. I have a carbon fiber hood so I don’t use any pin leashes. This is an awesome idea. Love it. Car sounds bad ass either way.
We also ordered off wish but needed to order 2 for the dual exhaust. We can't find the wire that jumps 2 to 1 . Can't we just direct wire them together and use 1 key chain? Help!!
The car has antique plates on it so it never has to get inspected again ...and in my state once it is so old the car is exempt from emissions even if you have it on regular plates

@@lastone6104 it should pass because the put the tester on at the end of the pipes so the exhaust still has to travel all the way out thru the cats ....and I see those Cadillac running cutouts all the time
The air scoop on the outside has a rode that hooks to the throttle linkage on the side of the carburetor so when you hit the gas pedal the butterfly flaps open up to let air in...so all i did was pull on the rode and in turn it makes the car rev up.
i bought 2 cutouts and they each have their own remote. can i splice the wires together and use 1 remote? don't want to carry 2 remotes for it. thanks.
Your ride is sick. I'm trying to figure out the purpose of these cut out exhaust. You said now it will be stupid loud, but I thought the purpose of the exhaust cutout was to quiet down the exhaust which is what I need.
I've had them for a year and yes I recommend them but I also do not drive the car to often mabye 30 times a year but they have worked everytime ive ever tried them and have never messed up. But for what other brands sell for and what I paid I feel they are more than justified. Sometimes I guess you realy are just paying for a name.
The rivets cover up the holes from the old scoop .....the butterfly scoop is a functional air cleaner that connects to the throttle linkage ... the chains are holders for the pins, i just see everyone put wire to hold their pins thought I'd be different .....so the only part on it from wish is the dual exhaust cutouts. Hope that clears up some things.

The cutout is before the glass packs on my setup so being that it is right after the headers it has less piping to go thru and makes the sound alot louder but their is still sound out the rear also. It just opens up another opening at a shorter distance and the existing one still is open. So to answer the question the sound comes out both

I would imagine that would work mine came with a splitter plug that goes into a 12volt outlet so I couldn't say for sure.
@@nightslayer2258 thank you! Wires are very small but did direct wire. Ours didn't come with the splitter wire.

The cutout is dead center. The scoop itself is offset so the rod that connects to the carb from the scoop to open the flaps has enough room.

No...I used to air scoop rod to rev it. The rod connects to the carburetor to open the flaps

If your trying to quiet ur exhaust what u need is mufflers.
you want more muffling mufflers. a cut out let’s the exhaust out before it hits resonators or mufflers which is why it’s so much louder
