I've had Doug's Headers Electric Exhaust Cut-Outs on my hot rod for 10 years they open and seal great and don't rattle. In 10 years I've had to replace a bad motor once. If your's rattle and don't seal there is something wrong and you should contact Doug's Headers.
@@frankie2499 I couldn't find anyway to program it. In fact when you go to the loudest mode "Track," a prompt comes up telling you that's it for track use only. And you have to double click it.
@@frankie2499 No, Ford never said you can program it. But you can set your drive mode and that will default the exhaust to the open setting. Run Track mode and it will open automatically. If that doesn't work call make a appointment to have your ECU and BCM re-flashed or firmware updated.

The only thing that I don't like about the active exhaust on my 2020 Mustang GT is that every time you restart the engine, it defaults back to normal.

2005 to 2014 is the s197... so yeah it will work
