No, plus put it at the very very beginning like from 0 seconds in to a minute in (like what the channel that you got inspired by does), not during the video, and also I don't care about "War Thunder" since the publishers are money hungry most of the time.
Nope. You cant call your self a gamer promoting scam casual games. Go play farmville. And what kind of vice city fan are you playing the DE!? Wow. Casual.
@@vsetfan2024 My sponsorskip wasnt even working, so annoying
I would rather play Russian Roulette instead of War thunder.
@@GeorgiaStateRailfan I prefer to play "The Long Drive" which I've been playing since the 23rd of December (abit of an early Chrissie gift), plus it's better than War Thunder, and yes the game which I prefer is on sale ATM
Still think this is the best GTA yet. The music, the atmosphere, the story, the characters, the writing. All of it just works.
And come 2 years time as of the soon to be 2024 next week… it will be 40 years since the events of those days in the game and one year after the official launch of GTA 6
Can't wait to know whata has been going on in the last 40 years in Vice City.
not even the best gta set in vice city😂😂
It just works
I actually played Vice City about a half a year or so after it's release while I was still in High School. I remember being able to buy it because I found 20 bucks sitting on the floor in the hallway. This stands as my favorite GTA game due to it's style and music. I've probably sat through getting to 100% at least 5 or 6 times. I know that's not a lot, but I still enjoyed every minute of it.
That's awesome
God I missed the days when games didn't cost 70-75 bucks.
you were able to buy this game coz you found money lying around? kinda like a GTA protagonist yourself there :)
There's a mission early on in this game where you have to beat a man up in an alleyway and steal his phone. So I stole a taxi and drove it down the alleyway as hard as I could. My run was interrupted by a cutscene of an angry dude on a phone, a yellow streak, a squelch and the prompt to pick up the phone. That shit was hilarious to me.
Broken Wings also literally tells the story of how someone has to learn how to fly again from downfall. Very synonymous to how the main protag is from the bottom and he has to climb his way up to make it up to Sunny.
Also synonymous with the song "Broken Wings" which is also a synonym for exactly what you described! Sorry, had to bring it up 😂
🎵🎶When we hear
the voices sing
We gotta lewrn to fly,
learn to live and love so free🎶🎵
The original soundtrack from 2002 is definitely great.
RIP Ray Liotta and Tom Sizemore (Tommy and Sonny)
Of all the games I expected you to cover, this wasn't even a thought. I'm so thankful you covered it. I hope you cover the entire trilogy
the soundtrack, the vibe, all the little and bigger references to 80's pop and gangster culture..... the soundtrack...
the voice actors, the first 3d gta that allows you to pop tires, the soundtrack and not to forget.. the soundtrack!
love this game n always will.
also cool touch, Paul Rosenberg was modelled after Sean Penn in Carlito's Way. iykyk
The soundtrack to this game is banging!
I actually love it when you cover older games compared to modern games because outside of personal bias, I genuinely believe older games were much more fun and felt different enough from the other which I dont really get from modern games.
Love the content bro
I never realised the main character in GTA 3 was named Claude…
Every days a school day !
And he cameos in SA. When Catalina leaves Carl, she's with Claude. And we all know how that ends
This video was an early Christmas present. Thanks man and happy holidays.
This was the first true game I ever played, my dad had a copy and little 12 year old me just casually picked up the cd one day and put it in my laptop. I am so happy I did, I remember going from flash games to the is amazing open world and just having the ability to do anything.
The music is so good. I haven't play Vice City in a ages, but still listen to the radio playlists on Spotify whenever I can, as I do for all the other GTA music.
Can’t lie I was kinda disappointed that you used the ‘definitive edition’ version when the original game looks, feels and plays a million times better
The original shooting mechanics are a lot better than the 'definitive' one.
People tend to knock the original layout because it isn't what we're used to today. But the thing is when you play through the GTA PS2 trilogy the feeling for the shooting comes pretty quickly.
Unpopular Opinion; as someone who played both games, i genuniely preffered the definitive edition over the original, even though it was buggy at launch, the game runs pretty well now and i really enjoy it!
@@haventfoundanameyetim literally playing both original and DE on PS4 rn, making almost same progress to get Platinum on both of these, and its DE where im getting most of enjoyment, with improved control, good looking widescreen, with very good lighting thing and etc. Its not perfect, but its better than old things from PS2 version, even though its graphics gives me lots of nostalgia (as i played PC version as a kid) (VC is my fav GTA alongside with IV)
@@haventfoundanameyetyou can’t be serious
This may never be seen, and I'll definitely try again whenever you upload next because the game I'm about to suggest is amazing. Endling, a game about playing as a mother fox, and protecting your cubs in a dystopian future where you are the last foxes alive. It's a beautiful experience, goes over many topics indirectly about many pressing matters in the world, and a sad but cute game to come across. I totally think it's worth to make a video about.
I liked Liberty City Stories. It was short, but going back to LC was like going back to your old neighborhood.
You forgot to add the fact that Tommy bought the Ice Cream Factory without knowing it was a front to sell drugs which was devised by a woman who hates children, the dude genuinely just wanted to sell ice cream to kids who he himself says are the main customers. He also wanted the Printworks to be a legitimate business where he would sell a newspaper or magazine, he was actually given the idea of printing money instead of coming up with it on his own.
i was 12 when my mum bought me this game. i remember being so excited to play it(queued outside gamestation at midnight release) but my playstation decided to pack up before i could play it! i still remember the frustration and anger of not being able to play it. my mum was nice enough to buy me a new one as soon as she could, took a month or 2. Was an amazing game and worth the wait.
oh my god the music throughout this entire video is just amazing
Man’s got sponsored and honoured with the presence of the snail.
Merry Christmas and thanks For this!🎄🎄🎄🎄❤️❤️❤️
I was so obsessed with vice city as a kid I ended up moving to Florida lol. I mean I had to move somewhere. And this was a big inspiration. This game is pure nostalgia
I’m with you. Tommy Vercetti is the best protagonist we’ve had when it comes to being just stone cold :)
The intro alone is the reason why you should play this game
Also, That Freaking Helicopter Mission
My childhood game, i finished it like a 100 times and to this day i have it on my phone
Merry christmas Gaming Wins
Wishing everyone who reads this a very merry Christmas and happy new year. And thank you GW for another great video about a truly special game. 🍕
Lances betrayal hit me so hard on my first playthrough. Justified, but painfull.
Cruising down Ocean Beach blasting V-Rock is a core memory
I will always remember doing races from sunshine autos listening to “cum on feel the noize” on V-rock. This game is a treasure
Great Video! Vice city has always been one of my favorites in the series. Kind of a weird small thing to notice in the background. But, do you time the video in the background so it coincides with the start of new sentence or topic?
My favourite GTA too. I'd spend hours driving around listening to the soundtrack. The Thor Odinson sketch is this hilarious.
was watching this while my pizza was cooking & 22:55 iconic jump totally loved that one as a kid
VC fave club right here! I first played it at 5 years old at my dad's house in 2002!
Man, Idk if it's just me, but I feel like you forgot to win the "It eat my favorite El Burro movie! It die!" scene. That scene always cracks me up lol.
Also, what's with that "Mission Failed" text in the middle of the screen during the scene where you kill Diaz? 😂
17:54 Tommy´s line here reminds me of "You´ve got another thing coming" by Judas Priest
"If you think I'll sit around as the world goes by
You're thinkin' like a fool 'cause it's a case of do or die
Out there is a fortune waitin' to be had
You think I'll let it go you're mad
You've got another thing comin'"
this is something I love about the songs in GTA games despite the era, there´s always a song that either describes the character or his normal day
like in GTA V for example, Michael´s favorite radio song is Los Santos Rock Radio, in that radio station there´s a song called "Dirty White Boy" by Foreigner
here´s part of the lyrics
"Been in trouble since I don't know when
I'm in trouble now and I know somehow I'll find trouble again"
you should make a "best of gaming wins" compilation. just a video of ur favorite moments from ur videos.
Great vid bromigo, keep em comi I was 13 when it came out. Perfect timing lol
4:40 I wanna add a little upon to why R* switched to unknown VAs
Read in an interview somewhere about two more reasons:
1) The gratitude of an unknown actor and enthusiasm to get a chance at their big break
2) They overheard Ray Liotta say something about how "he could have squeezed way bigger pay outta R*" and didnt wanna risk something like that
That’s actually crazy that I just beat this game 3 hours ago
You have to to a bonus video on RDR2 to do the side missions alone. Great channel and great videos.
Vice City was one of my first games and I loved it something not mentioned enough in this video is just how often I feel like people just steal a car and just listen to the radio whilst driving around Vice City. I still to this day believe Vice City has the best Radio stations and songs to go along with it and so many of the songs should be in GTA 6.
Dude. This can’t be overstated enough. My childhood are these radio stations!!

the whole game... it's just freaking great and a classic
this guy is straight up pulling the definitive edition "facts" out of his ass.
His excuse pissed me off like WHY I gave this trash a thumbs down already
fr, the game literally started with HUD in cutscene lol
I played through the DE with no issues on the XBSX. SA has had a few more bugs but 3 and VC played fine. Quality of life features like checkpoints were much less controller destroying
I knew I wasn’t the only one noticing the professional glazing he was give the games dispite 99% of everyone agreeing the “remasters” were shilled messes
Ahhhhhh the game of my childhood. Ohh the memories
i didn't know (or forgot) that Ray Liotta died. Hats off
R.I.P Ray Liotta I just watch good fellas last night awesome movie
This is why Tulsa King is so great. It's basically GTA Vice City in modern times.
So would that make Stallone an older Tommy Verceti… or a character like him? In this sense
Another miami vice reference, the mission you get in the cop uniform, lance has a stubby shotgun same as his actor in miami vice
Great video now I wanna play this game. I know the Definitive Edition had a lot bugs but is good now after all the updates and how is the Switch Version?
Ngl I'd like to see you make a video on the mafia trilogy you'd love it
You should do one about Vice City Stories, an underrated GTA but a really good one in my opinion
My dad introduced me to San Andreas but my mom introduced me to this one. I can't wait till 2025 just so she can relive Vuce City again!
This game always did and always will make me happy even though I never played it
Please do a video on Vice City Stories if you get the chance, it's pretty awesome
1:49 In 20 years of playing this game I have literally never noticed that guy on the hook.
Merry Christmas everyone 😊
We're going back baby!
Everyone forgets El Burro was in the original GTA. You see what he actually looks like after completing his missions.
I played the DE when it came out and i can admit it looks better now then it did last time i saw it
I 100%’d the PS2 trilogy the OG if you will, and omg, might have been tedious at times but it has to be one of my favourite experiences ever in gaming!
Watching this after watching your gta v video made me realize that rockstar just took the major themes and questions the posed for their last 3 games, boiled them down to foils, and used those to create new characters. San Andreas has to do with gang life vs family life or the family you make vs the family that’s given to you, which parallels nicely with Franklins desire to escape his surroundings. GTA IV is about the mental toll of war and the and the underlying lies of the American dream and while Trevor was never able to join the military, his lacking mental health and views on the government and the rich touch on the same themes. Lastly while I haven’t beaten the story of Vice City, the heavy 80’s aesthetic goes hand in hand with Michael’s nostalgia and longing for the good ole days.
So, the next giant ordeal to take on would be Baldurs Gate 3? :P
Is there a chance of you doing EGA for the InFamous series anytime in the future?
Every gta had a select few songs that made it nostalgic 🙏🏾🎉
I have the original map/cover girl poster still hanging on my wall to this day from all the way back when this game was in a box set with 3 lmao she'll always be #1 for me but SA is def up there
Vice City is a classic a true classic ! SA is iconic sure but we all know the OG Vice City that made a lot of children's childhoods by playing it while being too young.
Dude PLEASE do the Watch Dogs series!
Something my dad told me: Ray Liotta (Rest in Peace, man) is known for playing gangster roles (I think), so it makes sense for him to play Tommy Vercetti in Vice City.
One of the Good Fellas, a real Good Fella, rest in Peace Mr. Liotta…
I played it through the Definite Edition, it's a solid game. I can understand by people could see it as the best of the original trilogy, but I still have to give it to San Andreas, with it's controls and higher level of customization. But VC oozes atmosphere and I do adore it's soundtrack.
Did anyone else see a decapitated head under the pinball machine with the biker cut scene back when this game came out. Please let me know
vice city is probably one of my favorite games of all time but DAMN were the cop’s annoying. the amount of times they’ve made me fail missions either by blowing up my car by constantly ramming into me, or busting me was crazy. trust me, if you didn’t have cheats on, you’d have nothing nice to say about them lol. still a great video
You know what would be a cool video. Everything great about metal gear rising
I kinda want him to play the mafia games
Knowing GTA 6 will be set in Vice city again had me SO *HAPPY*
Holy Moly, my favourite 3d gta
While Vice City's world may be small, it is absolutely memorable. Pole Position, The Malibu Club, Leaf Links, the mansion, etc. Not to mention the quirky and memorable characters, the amazing soundtrack and the overall atmosphere. Yes, GTA: VC is my favorite GTA game.
Call me old school but GTA 1 is my favorite. Playing the overhead and hearing "Piece of shit" randomly just blew my fucking mind. I loved the KILLING SPREE
You traveled to every city in GTA 1 on PS1, but yeah, would be cool when it happens in a non top down game.
*PLEASE DO VICE CITY STORIES!*
I played Vice City, and then didn't play another GTA until IV. I saw so much of the same DNA between the two titles that I didn't question it. But it sounds like Vice City was the real innovator in the series. I'm looking forward to the review for GTA 3 so I can fully appreciate the way the series grew
At the point of the vid where he said cyberpunk. Omg can't wait for that video gunna be good
Already out!
Please consider making videos on RDR undead nightmare, and the mafia trilogy. Thank you.
Vice City will always be my favorite of the series!!!!
Who else can’t wait to go back to vice city in 2025
When that day comes we will party like it’s 1985 :)
17:33 Wait did you actually just use a helicoper in the mission Rub Out to enter Diaz's mansion? Did you not know of the entrance near the swimming pool? or was that on purpose?
Hey will you ever do videos on the two ubisoft south park games
How have you not made a video about any of the portal games
I would love to see what you think of red dead revolver, the red dead game that came before redemption 1 &2
"Lean into the madness" Might I introduce you to Saints Row 1 and Saints Row 2?
This is my favorite game of GTA series!
hands up if you have a map provided in the box, filled with little "X"es everywhere you found a hidden package ;7
Ahh the game that started all for me, a little 10 year old kid that had the luck to find a downloaded version of the game on a computer on cyber coffee
I wonder if Tommy will be mentioned in Gta 6, also ken ken ken Rosemberg the guy that runs this toownnwnwwnwn
I really want you to do kotor soo badly pls pls
Please do a Everything Great about KotOr
Play Prototype next
Are you going to do a video for the Valhalla DLC for God of War: Ragnarök?
Pray trll how 2023 has veen the best year for gaming?
