Captain George and Samantha were amazing; They were wonderful hosts and even better cooks…Samantha makes the best crab cakes EVER!!! Affordable drinks as well…Me and my girlfriend visited them twice in our 4 day trip…Thanks outside the levees for featuring them
South Louisiana and the coastal/marsh life is something to see. Im from Mississippi but went to LSU and was lucky enough to fish Grand Isle, Morgan City, Cocodrie, Chandeliers etc. Thanks Jared. He represents St. Bernard well.👍
Maybe one day will travel down there and do all the things - food especially looks delicious and nothing better than fresh!! Thanks for showing us around, Jared!! God bless
I would love to spend the day with George and Samantha🎉. I'm a Crab picker from way back🔥. Thanks Jared for introducing them ,nice Folks🥹. JO JO IN VT 💞
This video does it for me! I watch a lot of the food programs and see the different food but Louisiana is where I want to go! I've seen many programs about Saint Bernard Parish! I have to go there. I'm saving this video so I can book my tour with Happiness! I know I will be Happy! Thanks again ❤️
The comment about closing the MRGO outlet and how it positively affected the area is important. Here in Terrebonne Parish below Houma is the Houma Navigational Canal which connects the inter coastal to the Gulf of Mexico. It’s creation was a disaster for the area due to salt water intrusion . Nearly all of the cypress died and the Cheniers all over the area died out. Old Falgout bayou used to look just like the Oak tree canopied bayou yall went down. I used to love going down it in my skiff. Now it’s nonexistent.
That little Cabin would be Awesome....I wold live there for the remainder of my life...I Have a an 18ft Expresss Boat....Life would be great....HOT BUT fun.
These people telling George how to cook crabs the right way sound alot like the people you had to deal with about the white bass even after they got to the table and said they liked the way you cooked the fish and still complained. Some people just don't have any manners . I guess if they aren't happy they really don't want anybody else to enjoy their meal either.
Only $25 for a dozen? Count me in Can't wait to meet you guys one of these days. You guys look like a couple everyone would like to have as best friends or next door neighbors.
By the by my best alligator snapping turtle was close to 150 libs. A male. The LWDF couldn’t use it and they tried Bass Pro and Cabelas but they already had a breeding male. With all our river systems and fresh water swamps and breaks they are plentiful but very hard and dangerous to catch.
That looks amazing
Coming from Ireland where there are different accents everywhere you go it's great to hear these cool local accents

Like your video. Do you ship crabs to Hawaii? Rich
We haven't started shipping crabs yet. Sorry!
Is it 11 minutes after they come back to a boil? How long do you soak them and do you add ice for the soak?
yes 11 minutes after. he didnt put ice
salve, ma quanto costa da voi il granchio blu ?
That Loggerhead was a dandy!!!!!!!! And those crabs...........
Why not just have a big tank controlled water temps for them to stay in until Ready to boil? $25 for a dozen.. thats a deal...
Some people do that.
weird no links in your description
Nice
Does George add salt to his crab bath?
I don’t think so the season is pretty salty
Now I know why crab cakes cost so much, a lot of labor pulling meat out
I thought softshell crabs were highly desirable.

Indigenous people of Brazil use mangrove leaf and brench layers between stored crabs to keep them alive for more time.
They good fried too
Looks like a great place but way too hot for me...
Made me hungry
You've got to ice them... They can easily take a Finger off...
Why not pour the crabs on the table and sort them out lol “working harder I guess”
😮
I want to co.e down there.
I learned a better way to eat the bodies. I’ll get a whole lot more meat off them now
I think I could get the meat out of a crab.
