  • This is a unique frame. I would like to think its visual appeal is part of that uniqueness - but the locking joint it is where it’s truly unique. Miters normally tend to slip and slide during glue up. Using pinch dogs to draw the pieces together the joint locks precisely at 90° and does not slip.
The .dxf drawing is available at my website.

My crowning achievement includes a very similar concept for cabinet doors. I just think it would look so cool to incorporate some of the furniture details into a set of kitchen cabinets.

Nice. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who still sizes the end grain before final glue up. I think I may have to try this frame!

I need to switch to the "two pots" of water for cleanup. Always good to have some un-tarnished water on hand for unanticipated emergencies :) - Thanks for the video!

A beautiful frame. It will add some interest to any home. One thing, to watch the same procedure on every corner makes the video monotonous, for lack of a better word. I don’t want to sound mean. I hope I don’t sound that way.

Hi Rick.. Thanks - I agree it is a bit monotonous to repeat details like that. I am always looking to improve.

Love your videos! Can you do the same thing for the Seattle frame?

That's something I might do . The Seattle Frame was featured in my second book in case you would like to build it in the meantime

Question; is that the MLCS Ultimate router table? If so, how do you like it? Looking at it myself.

Thanks, Everett . You're welcome! Yes that is the MLCS router table. I love -it. It's very accurate . Having preset bit heights in memory is great. The only issue was that I got a faulty unit to being with . Once the replacement was sent I haven't had any issues.
