This was from the movie Poetic Justice that starred Janet and Tupac. It was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe for best song in a motion picture.

Now I cry during commercials, but i cried at the end of the movie when she's doing the little girl's hair. My friend thought I was crazy but that was such a sweet, hopeful moment to me.

I notice you began to watch shows. If you haven't watched old 70's and 80's sitcoms its a must. Try the show "Diff'rent Strokes" and watch Janet Jackson as a young actress. She isn't in the show a lot but she does air on 10 different episodes from 80 to 84. Or you could watch her movie with Tupac, "Poetic Justice".
Or on Good Times as "Penny".

Amber & Jay, I would like to recommend a back-to-back reaction to the song, "I'm Every Woman." The first version being done by Chaka Khan as her debut solo single in 1978. Next, check out Whitney Houston's version of the song. It was featured on the soundtrack of The Bodyguard, but it became a huge hit as a single in '93. Both versions are incredible. On a side note, the song was written by Ashford & Simpson. Legendary!

You guys keep missing out on Janet's 2 biggest hits. "Love will never do with you" In 1991 and 2001's "All for You" - #1 for 7 weeks. Also, "Feedback" from 2008, "No Sleeep" I think from 2015 and "Come Back to Me" from 1990. The last 3 are my favorites from Janet.
It's Janet if your NASTY!. Janet is gorgeous! Love her music and her style. "IF" is a must! Jay's face is hysterical...lol. Janet uses that same quiver in her voice as if she is going to cry like her brother Michael does in the song - "She's Out of My Life", which you should react to.

@@JaDav40Yep! I was such a huge Mariah fan, too. I wanted both songs to hit #1. After Janet spent a 2nd week at #1, I was a bit worried that she would keep Mariah out. I said "You had your turn. Let HERO hit #1." Then Mariah took over for 4 weeks.

Jay, the song you were thinking about of Janet and a group of friends (including a young JLo) sitting around was 'That's the way love goes'. The man in this music video is actor Gary Dourdan who played Warrick in the original CSI for 8 seasons in the early 2000's.

I absolutely love Janet’s work and was very lucky to see her perform live at the O2 in London on Sunday 29th September 2024 and she was amazing. She kept up with her dancers throughout the concert. She looks great for 58. If you get the chance, go see her. She sounded great, the same as she did at the height of her career. 🎤 🎵 🎶👏🏻❤️🙏🏻

As a 90s kid who’s Mom, Gram and all his aunt LOVED Janet Jackson, I was schooled on Janet my whole like, she’s always got a mix but 90s has a lot of dance jams don’t worry + 00 Janet is great as well, since I lost my Gram “ Together Again “ always hit me in the feels an is still one of my favorites..
