Me too. I feel that the speedy has become too common and the zip is very annoying. Gucci have some beautiful Boston bags too.
When I was 12 my mom took me to the LV on Bloor Street in Toronto. I had my fake LV from *jklux* on my arm and thought I was cute. The sweet sales ladies let me try on a bag and a pair of heels knowing we were not wealthy and couldn't afford to purchase anything. It as really nice. No one seemed to care I had a fake bag and I felt special. They even gave me a paper shopping bag which I used as a lunch bag for weeks after! :) Who cares if people don't have real ones? I'm 30 now and ironically, although I can afford them I still prefer real people with fake bags than fake people with real bags. Just saying :) (not that everyone who carries a real one is bad or vice versa.) Just means I don't care if people carry fakes.
the celine triomphe sunglasses look great on you! i think the celine boston, triomphe or dior montaige looks best on you!

Hi Isabelle! I have been using the mini Boston a lot for the last two years, I got mine in Madrid, and I love the fact that it can be used under the rain, at all seasons, and it is so cute and practical. I like it so much that I got the regular Boston as well, lucky to find at a multibrand store in Torino by pure chance. These have become my travel favorites. I am not using the Vuitton vachetta bags anymore.

Thanks for the shopping vlog! I am in the same position with the LV speedy v Celine boston dilemma. Having sold most of my LV bags, I just can't bring myself to get a speedy in monogram and I don't love the Celine canvas. I think I prefer the leather Boston in the tan. It's gorgeous.

Hey Isabelle! Love your videos! Just a thought on new mom bag- I have a 19-month old. I was looking for something low maintenance, crossbody/strap options, and could carry a couple toddler items (bottle, couple diapers, snacks, toys). Ended up purchasing LV Maida Hobo and I love it! It’s smaller than a tote and has great crossbody strap. I’m not getting much use out of my smaller bags, like YSL Camera or LV Pochette Metis. I just find they’re not that useful if I can’t carry a diaper and a few snacks. I think the Maida is no longer available but I see a lot of people use the LV Graceful in the same way, just purchasing the additional, thicker LV crossbody strap. Wanted to let you know my thoughts as a newer mom. I don’t like totes right now because I like being hands free to carry baby, so a larger crossbody is working great!

Hi Isabelle. Your husband is 101% right. The Celine boston is indeed an "old lady" style. Personally, I prefer the Fendi Boston. But between LV and Celine, go for the LV Speedy. ❤

I love the Celine Boston! I'm always in dark colours so I don't find the canvas dark/dull. I considered the speedy20 but I was just tired of LV's canvas (even tho I only have one heh).
I know exactly what you mean! I am exactly the same.. I like the speedy but just so hesitant with that canvas😅
Congrats on getting closer to your goal weight! I love your haul and how you styled the outfits. The Celine Boston bag looks very practical and a nice lesser common alternative to the LV Speedy 20 but some bags are popular for a reason. I don't think the canvas looks grandma like and it looks like it is darker than LV canvas.
I have the 30 Montaigne in box leather. Bought it about 2-3 years ago and I love it. It is a great medium size bag and I love the large back pocket and adjustable/removable strap. It has worn well but I am always careful when I wear my bags by having them close to my body. There were a few times my nails grazed the bag but I didn't see any scuffing. I remember seeing reviews on TH-cam and one of the cons noted were scratches on the leather but none on my bag. Another thing is some people say it is hard to align the clasp to close the bag but I have gotten use to feeling the closure and aligning it that it is easy for me to do without looking. It almost has the same dimensions as a medium Chanel Classic flap but I love that it is one compartment with some some interior pockets. It is a very structured bag but suits my needs. the Goelia haul is very nice. I love th color of the trench and it looks very soft, but I don’t like the fact that it isn’t lined. I prefer lining in my coats. Enjoy your Celine belt, it’s gorgeous

*jklux* I have the Coach tabby 18 and wow that bag didn't transfer a bit of color, I even wore it in the rain with my dark denim jacket, keep in mind it was absolutely pouring and I put it on underneath my jacket Got wet, that was over 8 months ago, it's very sturdy and over a year it's still looking great, also the same light yellow color so you can easily match it with anything, even a jacket, when you wear It really pops when worn with dark clothes.
The Chanel 19 is the best bag so user friendly I love mine. I love my 22’s also. Love them so much I have 3 lol. You can’t go wrong with either. You look great after baby fashion is such a motivator for losing weight for sure

I like the Boston bag in either monogram or tan. The opening is better and it’s less common. I also think the Vaschetta will be harder to maintain. As this will be a practical bag I’d go with the one that is easiest / practical to use so you will grab it more often. CELINE is really trending now and it’s a small bag so the monogram won’t be overwhelming. The tan one is nice but I feel the canvas is more practical if you want to be “rough” with it or if baby c wants to grab it with sticky hands 🤣. Otherwise I love the tan Boston also. The leather on my large CELINE Romy also in tan has held up well and I used it as a work bag without being too gentle. Good luck in your search and hope ur doing well !!😊

I've seen this company around on YT everywhere and adore many of their pieces, but I just can't do their sizing.... too much of a headache for me right now. I'm in between sizes you know. Concerning your DH's thoughts on the Celine looking old fashion... I understand his thoughts. I believe I've seen quite a few prints in this color with different patterns on vintage bags from the past. Infact, old Celine is one of them. I still like the bag though.🤍

It is so nice to have the store here for sure! I got the size XS in the trench as it is a generous fit. As for everything else, I could go S-M. I am usually an Aus size 8 (more like 10 at the moment due to the baby weight..) I think that is US size 4-6! Hope this helps❤️

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!

Go with the LV speedy 20. Not celine. Looks cheap with the strap clasps.
I prefer the LV speedy to that Celine Boston and yes, the colour looks dull. Not a fan of the Celine monogram print in general.
What about just using the small Chloe woody tote that you already have or is that too open for you?
That is exactly my hesitation with the Celine boston! My Chloe woody is a good size but yes I do want a bag I can fully close so things won’t pop out when I move quickly to grab baby C etc!

They do run a little small but I believe they changed their sizing with this current season so should be pretty similar to your usual size! For reference, I’m currently an Aus size 8-10 (US 4-6) and could do either size S-M!

Great video. Very helpful as I have been trying to decide between this Celine canvas boston and an LV speedy 20. It’s been months and I just can’t seem to choose. I love Celine and want to love this mini Boston but I can’t get past that first-look impression of “older lady” or “dull color combo.” The LV seems more modern and “younger.” But please, help me answer the never-ending question: Has LV just become too overrated, obnoxious, tacky and overpriced?
And is the Celine more elegant and less ubiquitous but “not exciting?” 🤯

the chanel prices never fail to shock me 😆🫣 $10k for the 19! at $7k launch price i walked away haha. i recently got the 22 mini in white GHW and been using it so much - super easy grab and go pretty bag. i was skeptical at first about the 22 style but it has won me over 🫶🏼
