Gathering classics that define your own style can function as the backdrop to playing with any "trend". In the words of Coco ...Who needs fashion when one has style!
You did a nice job summarizing the trends. Thank you for so many clips from the runways! For my fall and winter, i am all in on knit wear. Love, love, love. Will not do 50/60s, but i love leather and fur. I am using a lot of denim, boot cut/wide and large oversized knits, sexy knits, and hats. For work, like all cigarette pants, and ts and blazers with strong shoulders and waist. My new purchases were nude ballet flats with square toes, red and navy cashmere turtleneck (I were red, navy, cognac, all the time), and love slip skirt from summer with my cream fisherman jacket and waterproof snowboots
@@Chicquette Thank you for such an interesting , fun video. Honestly, while so many styles of pants are now on trend, available...many ladies have always adored the slimmer leg. Personally, I could not see pants such as the cigarette style not evolving and coming back into fashion quickly!
I think that most of these trends are either with us every fall/winter (plaids, checks, leather turtlenecks), or else cycle around every few years (animal prints, ladylike suits, cigarette pants). I like that feminine shapes are back in, as they fit my aesthetic. I've got some ponchos and capes that I will be delighted to wear. The only specific trend that I see myself adopting is some animal print, in small amounts and just for fun. I will be avoiding the bedroom slippers--um, I mean the feathered shoes. There is no way they'd survive a single wearing, anyway. Glad to see that hats are in! I have several wonderful hats. I have to chuckle at the hat at 6:33, though. It looks exactly like the Australian bush hats that I see being sold at horse shows, summer art fairs, and RenFaires. They've been around for ages. I have one just like it.
Laura, thank you for watching and for sharing this detailed comment. I see we are very much alike in taste. I would do animal print in small dosage, love hats, wish mroe women embraced them. Feathers.. I have a feather poncho and let's just say it can never be washed .. 🥹 Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great day!
Awesome video!🫶✨👏I love this kind of fall fashion..I found myself in a lot of trends. You really inspired me!🥰Thanks for the comprehensive report! You are wonderful women!❤️💋💯🌹
Thank you for your kind words. It's nice to see that you instinctually pick up on the trends ins't it? Glad to hear it come from a place of joy for fashion. Have a wonderful day! 😘
Absolutely great presentation! Concise with a ton of information. After a life of Vogue (literally since I was 15... over 50 years), I am so done... way too much politics. Stay in your lane, lol. You are my September issue now. Thank you! (And I loved almost every single look ..sans the McQueen green dress). Bravo.
I would like to know how these trends carry over to the average women size 12 to 14. Can you do a presentation of fall fashion that women can relate to.
@@nikkil764 well speaking from my own experience with style there are colors, patterns and cuts that work for you and ones that don’t. If you are a little bigger perhaps you will be more limited in options than size S but still imo it’s not too hard to look great if you have time to spare. So I’d take a trend or two from each season and incorporate it to my personal style. I use this philosophy when dressing myself or buying stuff for my wife. Try Emily Jane Johnston if you want inspiration for great looking outfit at bigger size.
Great question! For 2024/25, daytime practical coats are blending timeless and bold trends. Pleated sleeves and high shoulder pads are making a fashionable return, adding a touch of drama and structure to outerwear. Keep an eye out for these details to stay stylish and practical. Hope this helps! 😘
* the s at the end of Hermès is not silent 😶 It's pronounced "er-mess" I loved the video, you do the research and the editing that I usually don't see in Seasonal Trends videos 🤗
Probably, around 25% of all the designs shown here I would wear (Classic designs) - the rest is beyond my taste. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the video very much. Thank you.
Some f these outfits look totally ridiculous and the models walk like robots/ goofballs… haha I’m so happy I have confidence and my own style that I’m happy with.. don’t be a follower!
Why can't you say Prada instead of her first name? It's confusing to outsiders and very unhelpful. Otherwise, a very good thematic edit of the season. 🤩
I have about 12 designer (everyday) *yutulu* bags + 3 *yutulu* clutches. I still have some bags on my wishlist, but my idea is not to build a huge collection, ever. I have also sold some bags that I no longer use. The selling process is not always easy and can take a lot of time. That's one reason why I consider long and hard before I buy something new.
Lol..why do i read the comments? People are so correcting you on "plaid". I am sure your beautiful diction and vocabulary is better than most commenting on that. I am all about your wonderful content. But I said that already and fell down the comment trap.🙂

I agree. I feel to waste the fur, leather or suede is disrespectful to the animal. Loss of habitat is partially responsible. culling is warrented in some situations, however leave us fur wearers alone. Otherwise no leather for anything shoes, belts, jackets, NOTHING. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I abhor winter! Nothing warmer than fur.

Yes to the cigarette pants! Especially with pumps ... such a classic style. Thank you for sharing and watching! 😘

Hourglass! Finally… love when the “look” is what you have. So hard to pull off the opposite: )
LOVE the Burberry floor length pleated tartan skirt with aviator jacket.❤
So happy to see there are Burberry fans here. Do you own any pieces from them?
Bold. Luxurious. Structured. Classic. Innovative. Avant- garde.
Repeat...
We watched all the same shows. My takeaway was the same…..adding gold! Gold jewelry, gold buttons, everything chunky and bold.
Animal prints sooooooo chic
@@judithholleran6423 I love animal prints to a certain degree.
Beautiful presentation! (PS: 'Plaid' rhymes with 'mad.')

Thank you. I needed to know this too. ❤

Looking forward to cigarette pants, colourful hosiery , retro, and checks. Tired of “too much” oversized and slouchy clothes.

Plaid is pronounced like had, mad, sad. “ Intricate details in a modern way” seems to apply to just about everything. Otherwise, cool.
It's actually just a type of tartan. 🏴🏴🏴
Yes definitely tartan, I think it's just the U.S. that calls it plaid.
Is this a frigging English lesson? She pronouncing plaid with her accent. So what, and how rude of those making these comments.
Yes tartan is used in the UK where the fabric originated.
@debrabruzdowicz475 How is it rude?
Rude, is when Americans think they know everything and think that everything originated there.
interesting, well curated, but plaid = "plad"
I think for all designers "high quality" comments are a given.
Leather for any weather 😂
NOT a fan of animal prints. Nope.😝😝😝😜
Same. Always reminds me days when they killed animals for this, even now they stress those things are “ vegan”.
Done correctly - and cleverly through a scarf or some kitten heels they are great. You dont need to look like Mercedes Ruhel im Fisher King

Yes! Natural fabrics are the most elegant pieces to wear. Higher price but less is so much more here. We don't need many, a few, but good ones.

Boycott any designer using feathers, think about it. A bird's feathers...duh, barbaric
Thumbs up for Dior, Channel and Hermés. Animal prints should be banned from fashion for the next 100 years, as well as feathers (we aren't birds)!
