There is certainly no mistaking Brian May’s Guitar. Like Freddie’s voice, together they make Queen the spectacular group they were.

This is possibly my favourite Queen song of all time. Well done and thank you for covering it.

This song is so technically intricate a brilliant composition by Brian May who said that this came to him in a dream, Freddie loved the cannon effect and went crazy with it, he was having so much fun.

"Oh, Oh, And two by two my Human Zoo"..... what a line. Freddie was quite unique.

This was Brian's masterpiece, but it would never have been a commercial hit, so it wasn't released as a single. I put it up there with Freddie's March of the Black Queen. If you know any of your Bible, you'll know how this is clearly based on it. There are bits from Moses' and Joseph's stories, but the greatest majority is about Noah. There had never been rain at that time, and water falling from the sky was incomprehensible to them. When Noah was preaching about the coming flood, he was called a madman. The "2 by 2 my human zoo" was the 2 of each species being taken aboard the ark.

Thanks JM- don't hear too many reactions to this brilliant composition.... this has been called "Brian May's Bohemian Rhap" - I really think it's even more complicated and intricate... appreciate your reaction!

Brian penned this song after a dream he had about the Great Flood. Hence, the nods to Noah & the Ark 🐘🐅🦓🦒 “two by two my human zoo”, the white dove 🕊🌿 the flood 🌊💦 “listen to the wise man” (or madman 😳). Brian had the dream when he was quite sick with Hepatitis!! I love the cannoning technique. You should check it out live! Amazing!!

Really like your reactions and how yow appreciate Queen’s enormous talent, range and versatility. You might like Teo Torriate they did in Japan. Freddie sang this in English and Japanese and the crowd went wild! Keep up the very good work you’re doing.

There is so much great music from so many great groups you could never hear it all in your lifetime. Some suggestions are worth waiting for. For me the priority is Quality Over Quantity. Take your time JM. Your reactions are worth waiting for too.

This song was written by Brian May after he had a fever dream about the story of the great flood while suffering from hepatitis during the recording of Sheer Heart Attack. The song’s working title was “People of the Earth”.
Utilizing Queen’s peak-level production and experimentally, the song is packed with interesting concepts, from its delay effect solo to its famous cannon section that goes on for 2:30 minutes. The song is structured very similarly to the song Brighton Rock from their previous album, also written by Brian May. It is also the longest Queen song, playing at 8:20 minutes.

Dude! There's a lot of Queen reaction vids out there of course, but I was looking for someone reacting to this one - one of my favorite Queen songs - and no one had done it. Thank ya for checking it - I only just clicked this by way of watching your recent Cold Turkey reaction. Subscribing now, keep it going man, I'm digging it!

Brian explains how this cannon effect with Freddie's Voice and Brian's guitar was done in the studio with only analog tape players. He first experimented with this in the song Now I'm Here on their third album Sheer Heart Attack.

Sir have you. Heard Freddie sing solo his song- Exercises in Free Love?. You think the operatic was a wow- listen to Freddie’s song he developed for Montserrat- no words- just Freddie’s vocalizing- it will carry you away- I’ve loved Queen since 1975- I listen to them every day- … this was written by Brian- this sort of his Bohemian Rhapsody- thank you there is not many things I can enjoy anymore- watching a young man falling into this miracle of a rabbit hole- it’s fab!!

I love Queen. There is no one like them. Can you react to “Now I’m Here” live at wembley 1986. If you get any requests from wembley it’s guaranteed to be great! Roger really shows the awesome drummer he is on this song. Who am I kidding, they’re all great!!

Also, if you're requesting recommends - I'll just throw down something that was popular but may be off the beaten path for recs. Could you check out the band The Blue Nile, especially the song "The Downtown Lights"? They're from Glasgow in the 80s and have put out only a few records, but all their stuff is heartfelt and gorgeous; you may just dig it.

I love listening to the albums from the 70s. Their voices are so interchangeable. Especially during this harder edged Prog Rock period. ( note Brian writes the song & sings the opening verse ) Before Fred jumps in with pure power.
