True but then there were also GMs like the villainous Krause who was putting guys like Rusty LaRue on the 98' Bulls when clearly Karnisovas was better than LaRue. Agendas, agendas, agendas.
Kukoc, Schrempf, Petrovic, Marciulionis, Divac, Radja, out of the top of my head. Sabonis could have come in earlier but the soviets didn't want to let him go.

The last 10-15 years worth of NBA stars will treat an event like this to use Load Management. Not Michael Jordan, his attendance was great. Blessed the fans that watched the NBA during his playing days.
Damn Chicago could've been a contender after Jordan retire. If they knew how to draft. passing up on Manu, Redd, Agent Zero, Tony Parker or Joe Johnson, Amare or Tayshaun. Trading away Lamarcus Aldridge. Chicago need to up there draft game. Sad for fans to have to rewatch old MJ videos to remember the glory days.
@ImUnguardable Yeah everybody trashes our drafting...There's a lot of things wrong with the current Bulls but drafting isn't one. For being cursed to have the 7th pick in perpetuity we have done pretty well. I still think Lauri is going to be really really good. Coby is a baller Carter is solid at everything you could want him to be... Our problem is we literally have the worst coach in the league...and our front office was horrible. We have a huge market and we weren't able to bring in free agents because our reputation was so bad. I'm really hopeful for our future with our young core if we can bring in a solid coach. Our offensive players are built for this era of basketball...We might not have a superstar but Lavine is ready to take the next step into being an all-star. He probably deserved to be in this year. It only takes one lucky ping pong ball in the right draft class (I don't think this years is all that good. unfortunately) To turn a squad like ours into a really good team down the road. I don't think it'll happen i the next couple years...but Anthony Davis has expressed interest in playing here. We get 30 year old AD and nail the draft the next few years..We could be really good.
Yes... And Artūras all the time was perfectionist on a court. Even shooting 3 points. Hands show it. Also, well playmaker. So.., knows the game well and how to use players.
That smile on MJ's face at 6:27 tells me he was about to shoot it with his eyes closed. Its a shame the camera angle changed otherwise it could have confirmed that.
So McDonals Open was basically the old FIBA Intercontinental Cup ? Champion of each basketball leagues continent play each other ? Never see this, before.. Also why NBA team stop getting invite to play FIBA Intercontinental Cup now ?
That game has a special place in my favorite's team history! Olympiacos faced the MJ led Chigago Bulls in their hey day! Great memories!
Karnišovas could play in the NBA, sadly but at that time European players were badly underrated.
True but then there were also GMs like the villainous Krause who was putting guys like Rusty LaRue on the 98' Bulls when clearly Karnisovas was better than LaRue. Agendas, agendas, agendas.
Yeah, if, for example, Danilovic was there, Karnishovas could surely be in the League too.

So, did it take The Last Dance documentary to finally wake up Chicago and fire GarPax??? MJ has to be 🐐
Garpax is finally gone!!!!
Shamon Shaw Gar fired, John demoted so yes/no. However hopefully Arturas's next step is firing Jim Boylen
Gar is gone, Pax is still here
Hope that clown of a coach Boylen does get fired!! We definitely need a new coach then we will be on track.. 🙌
Good to see Kukoc finally start in front of Pippen.
