    Kukoc barely got mentioned in the Last Dance

      That's because Carmen Electra played for the Bulls, not Toni.

      He was abused by Jordan and Pippen because of Jerry Klaus. Had no idea in the Olympics. When he finally joined the bulls only Jordan started to open up to him, Pippen not so and as you know Pippen made a deal out of kukoc taking the last second shot.

    He was that good and more for me one of the best players of all time and the European GOAT (Greatest of all Time). Before Luka before Yokits we had Toni he was awesome.👌👌👏👏🙌🙌

    Blocked shot, steals, rebound, dribble/pass, drive to the basket, shoot inside or out. He could do it all...and nearly 7' and left handed which people aren't used to defending.

    He was as valuable as Pippen, if not more so, in this series. He also played incredible when the were against Seattle. His contributions to these Bulls teams were underrated.

    Toni Kukoc represents the perfect basketball player. If he had chosen to change teams, he would surely have had a career like Nowitski's, with better individual numbers but fewer collective achievements. However, he preferred to remain with the Bulls as a luxury substitute to win. championships, sacrificing a potential career as an NBA superstar

      Kukoc is amazing but he is not on the same level as Nowitzki. When Jordan retired Kukoc was only 29. What has he achieved in the years after that? Never even averaged 20 ppg in those 7 remaining seasons. In Philly he came of the bench. In Atlanta he had 17 great games in '01 and then completely fell off in '02.

      @@maartenvz
      When Kukoc played in Milwaukee and Atlanta he did not come to those teams as a scoring star. He was simply a luxury substitute from Chicago, which is why those franchises never adjusted the team thinking about him being the scoring star. If he had joined those teams from the beginning, they would surely have Nowistki's numbers and some championship and some MVP in the end.

      @@maartenvz Let's also not forget that Kukoc was considered a big star in Europe and won many things there and his transition to the NBA was late (Nowitzki arrived at 20 years old and Kukoc at 25)

      @@armendarizosvaldo26 Huge Toni fan here... love your comment....If it's considered.. that Michael was a completely selfish 1 on 1 player before Phil took over, & that Scottie sat out 1.8 gate, & delayed his surgery to enjoy off-season, + always whining about the contract that he signed..... Also that Toni won I believe 3 titles in Europe? Always nailed the ice water in veins, clutch game on line shot....than Toni was the most valuable Bull EVER.....

    Kukoc is clearly ahead of his time. He was already playing efficient European basketball in 90’s. I was a kid when starting to watch basketball back in 90’s . I don’t know who MJ is and always thought Tony is clearly the best on the court

    Jordan wanted the last shot, but he was in a bad night and they'd have done better to let it to Toni.....whose missed 3rd free throw was crucial, actually

    you see how Malone guarding Kukoc was something the Jazz couldn’t have.?.
    even Russell guarding him was a bad matchup.
    kukoc might have been original Wemby on the offensive end

    • @edmondlau511
      @edmondlau511 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Malone just didn’t make the lateral quickness and Russell was giving up around 3-4” in height to Kukoc in the post. Kukoc would thrive in the modern game.
