I made melek as a commander deck in paper on a whim, turned out to be super fun. Love playing all these expensive instants and sorceries nobody else bothers with for just 2 or 3 mana. From the too-expensive countermagic, to the really splashy stuff like mother lode and magnum opus.
Izzet isn't my favorite coloe combo, but i sure do love seeing spellslinger decks go off! Awesome deck as usual! Also Discontinuity would be freaking DISGUSTING in this deck. 3 blue mana to end your opponents turn before they even draw for turn!!!!!!!
Compared to other Brawl video from other channels, yours seems like more diverse on sets and maxing the commander potential. most "content creator" only use cards from recent sets and good stuff from the colors.
That has more to do with them simply not having the same library of cards Legend has. It's expensive to make completely new and unique decks without having already been playing during the time they were in standard.
It has collectively saved thousands of hours, so the occasional mistake is worth it in my opinion. I'll usually double-check which lands are being highlighted. With Melek especially it doesn't always account for the cost reduction and its potential ramifications.

I made a Melek deck immediately after the release of MKM, so I'm stoked to finally see your take on it
40:50 feels like a missed lethal, Melek was a 10/10, cyclonic rift Muldrotha without overload making it a 12/12, attack then Chandra -5 to the face.
