A little explanation to NMIXX’s lore: Green basically means BAD. This whole comeback is based off something called “sweet oasis” which is a made up candy shop that sells BAD green candies. All the green splotch’s are a little comeback to one of their “sweet oasis” concept teasers where their is green goo coming out of the door. NMIXX is basically trying to get to their “mixxtopia” but the green candy is getting in the way. The “pick n’ mixx donut shop” in O.O is also a little reference to food, which is obviously a big part of their lore “EG, donuts, the fridge, candy, ice cream etc.” If you watch some of their concept trailers NMIXX is referring too the “mixxtopia” & the “real life” and how it’s hard to locate both of them. Obviously there is a deeper meaning towards these things, but I can’t elaborate any further. Hope you understood :).

Since Jinni left, Green has been shown as "Bad" insinuating that Jinni was bad, but if Jinni was a good person who was a great addition to the group, we can conclude that her leaving has left some bad marks on them and that showing green as bad is actually a coping mechanism to say "We didn't need her at all" when in actuality, they miss her.
i love how the MV is not as “loud” and much more plain especially with a lot of “white background” scenes, it’s completely different from O.O and Dice which probably tell the audience that “look, we could do bold, plain, everything you can think of”, and they NAILED it!

Yess finally someone recognizing the coolness of the shot 10:12 ! I am obsessed with it since my first time watching the MV, and I couldn’t put a finger on why. It just fits so well with the confident, cool, a bit funky aura of the song.
The thing that you said about this part 6:17 is actually vice versa coz the green thing in that MV is their enemy. If you watch their teasers ‘Docking Station: Declaration’ and ‘Secret of Oasis’ you’ll understand. Well, i have my theory in their lore. Remember the teaser of their debut AD MARE? the one that says "Sweet Oasis" in a Jar that is full of sweets. We know Oasis is like a paradise in a harsh environment like desert right? despite the hot, dry environment, there is like a place that is fertile with water and cool right? if you go to that place you don't wanna go back out to continue your adventure right? Hear me out on this, There is a similarities between the "Sweet Oasis" jar and the Donut shop in 0.0 MV. Both of those things "contains" colorful and "overly sweet" things. Haewon says in the Docking Station: Declaration video: "Something green and "OVERLY SWEET" is deceiving us and getting in our way" then it shows the donut shop from the MV that is green. She followed it up by saying: "Sweet things seems good but they stop us from imagining" They are practically saying that the "Sweet Oasis" is a trap or a distraction that gets in the way on our Journey. Haewon also followed up by saying: "People whose existence was denied wish to stav in the maze of 0 and 1 rather than take on an adventure" In connection to what she said before, she basically said most people are content to stay in a maze that is limited because that is were they are comfortable at, instead of exploring new things and taking risk to find more bigger opportunities in reaching your full potential. Remember in the MV, on their journey where they went to the donut shop and they were like looking around amazed and wondering what is going on in there. As viewers we were like "WHOAA" because there is a lot of colorful things, then there is Bae's part when she said "See that maze in zeros and ones, Stop staring come follow", keep in mind that 0 and 1 mentioned in the lyrics are the "ONLY numbers" that made up the Binary Language. Bae basically told us that even though the things in the donut shop/maze seemed nice, the shop was only a container for small and limited things, and if we are tempted or get distracted on the way, we may never get out or possibly miss on a lot of good or much better things outside of that maze. She also said "stop staring" which meant don't be distracted by these things and just follow them. Then Sullyoon followed up by saying "Cause everything is fake but I ain't fake" which seemed like she is trying to persuade us not to be fooled by these things presented in the donut shop. Then we see JINNI bursting out flying from that shop/ maze which symbolizes like she was free from the maze that is trying to contain them inside and we see the members going out all smiles after experiencing a much bigger world and better things compared to the donut shop that were distracting them. In relevance to while that is happening we hear Lily singing "Bam Bam BAm, See more more more" basically saying you should SEE MOREEE or Explore more!
My "theory" is a little bit different from this. I think O.O mv seems a bit like Inception movie. Because I believe that the whole mv is either in dream world or imagination or an another universe. If you watch O.O mv again without that dancing parts, the whole thing feels like a dream. The first part of the mv seems like they just wake up into a new world, starting from haewon slowly waking up and whole environment is really foggy. And other members seems confused as well and trying to figure out whats happening. I think the second part of the mv confirms that they are not in real world and you can definitely recognized it both visually and lyrically. Transitions like kyujin entering and jinni going outside of donut shop feels like a dream. Creepy part is, the lyrics indicate that they know exactly they are in a dream world (or hallucinations) and enjoying it for a moment. "Everything is fake, but I ain't fake", "Realistic dreams had enough yet?" . Kyujin also said "0+0=infinity" which is completely a false statement (but possible in that universe they are in), followed by "aint it that amazing?" which means they realized they are not in the real world but enjoying it. Note that the whole mv is in the same place/city. I think the one that contained nmixx is not just donut shop, but the whole place. Everything seems perfect, bright and colorful. The final part is actually realizing and trying to escape the world. The black outfits and facial expressions seem more serious. Pay attention to the lyrics of haewon and lily at the end of the second part. They are basically saying they have to try to escape. This is just ONE theory. The rest is for the other days.
Additionally with all the wizard of Oz imagery, the green colour of the emerald city? Where all hopes and dreams come through thanks to the wizard? Well the wizard was a fake... Green signifies false hope. Dorothy was still stuck in Oz despite the entire journey. The green she was chasing could not help her in any way. Perhaps in the future we might see more ruby red to back this up hahaha

I watched the video so many times and only now watching this, I realize how weird it is. Like, the amount of questionable and weird things happening in this video that didn't even make me bat an eye. I'm too used to this lol.
Great we share the same favorite shot. Unfortunately I was really disappointed by this MV. It had really good teasers (one even wong kar wai-esque), but ultimately not much happens in the "story" scenes and the video was just full of (well-made) dance scenes. The non-dance shots also were all cut very short (1s or under) for some reason. Might have been result of one group members contract elimination but who knows, it at least makes me think they had to change a lot of scenes to dancing scenes and play around with the studio footage a bit to make up for the less of the scenes with the missing group member. Honestly there's more stuff to criticize, like the video doesn't seem consistent at all, but let's just hope the next one's gonna be better.

Great we share the same favorite shot. Unfortunately I was really disappointed by this MV. It had really good teasers (one even wong kar wai-esque), but ultimately not much happens in the "story" scenes and the video was just full of (well-made) dance scenes. The non-dance shots also were all cut very short (1s or under) for some reason. Might have been result of one group members contract elimination but who knows, it at least makes me think they had to change a lot of scenes to dancing scenes and play around with the studio footage a bit to make up for the less of the scenes with the missing group member.
Honestly there's more stuff to criticize, like the video doesn't seem consistent at all, but let's just hope the next one's gonna be better.
