Just in case you can’t get it out like me. I had the other sensor fail on me a while ago and when removing the old sensor, I galled the treads where the new one wouldn’t go in. Had to chase screws with tap. Wanted to try and prevent that this time for the P1155 code so here is what I did. I hope it helps other people in the future. It was tough to take off even with the special tool. I started to round the nut on the used O2 sensor. I ended up taking off the heat shield. Once that was off, I could get in there with a wrench. I used penetrating oil and as soon as it moved a little. I sprayed with more penetrating oil working back and forth until I got it off. New one went in easier and I applied anti-seeze to all bolts and senor I touched or replace. Hope this helps the next person !
Just picked up one over the weekend with this issue. Gonna be my 15 yr old first vehicle. They included new sensor. Very quick and to the point. Most intros are longer than your whole video and you installed the sensor. New sub here, Thank you!! 😊
i same codes on a 2002 rav4 and codes came back 2 days later. i got the sensors from advanced for $450. think i wasted my money, if getting the dense is the case for this i will be mad at myself for wasting money.
You might have a problem in your wiring not the sensor. Have someone scan it and check the live data to see it the sensors are functioning properly. Thanks for watching.
Hi - Scrap Daddy auto mechanic---Toyota 2001 RAV4 P1135 error code - A/F sensor is located on the driver side top One - correct?? How about an error code of P1150 on the same car?? where is the A/F sensor located??? Please let me know ASAP - need to order the right parts
P1150 is for bank 2 sensor 1 it will be one of the sensors on the top. The one I changed in the video. Watch again to make sure. You could have 2 different codes for the same sensor showing 2 different problems for one part. Thanks for watching
What is the socket size?
22 mm or 7/8 inch either one will work. Thanks for watching
Just asked the same question.. haha
