Why The Imperial Guard use Cavalry in Warhammer

In Warhammer 40k there are a lot of crazy and ridiculous things that happen. One of them is that the imperium of man uses cavalry charges but surprisingly it is actually pretty useful in many cases! Today i go through why they are used and also some of the various types that you may see from the imperial guard.
