So Im assuming the xr10 just stock ESC and a g2 10.5T on 2s is not what's it's signed for.. I noticed mine used came with a mod 1 sour gear. I wonder how a 3670 2600kv and my castle mamba x would do on the track. Indoor clay. What do you think?

I'm interested in getting into the indoor outdoor racing scene but don't know where to start. Seems like I have to go 2wd even though I prefer 4wd and truggy over buggies. Any suggestions on the best way to get started?
CL-Audio I’d suggest going to race night and seeing what classes they run, especially if they have a novice class. Then you can make sure you get a vehicle that matches. If you like 4wd, most places will have a 1/10 4wd buggy class. Truggy is not as popular, but some places will have one. Also ask what type of tires are the most popular and get a set of those. Have fun!

I can't wait to see how it does against the Losi 1/10 tenacity Truggy. Question, would it be a bad idea to run 1/8 scale tires and go with the 17mm hex nut adapter? Thoughts?

You're making me want to buy another one of these. I had the ofna back in the day, and this is still one of my favorite trucks that I ever had.
Just got one and love it, handles great but hard to put motor mount screws in.

Completely different platform. The only thing this has in common with the old CRT .5 is that OFNA used to distribute them.

Well truggy and sct are bigger tyres than buggy. Almost as big as 1/8 buggy
They're 1/10th Scale Stadium Truck rears, 12mm hex.
