I appreciate how Trazyn is basically the best boss you can ask for in a universe like 40K. Most obviously was the human Koloma who worked for Trazyn and remarked about all the things, big and small, that Trazyn did to make his life better (far better than his human masters) with Trazyn stating that good service should be duly rewarded. The entire exchange was shockingly somber and tender for the setting; the way that Trazyn finally notices how old his servant has grown and how he changes from boss mode to that of sitting beside a friend’s deathbed, how Komola asks Trazyn if the world will be destroyed and Trazyn takes care to tell him a half-truth to spare his feelings. Then there’s his trusted Necron advisors. When Orikan infiltrated his museum and destroyed some of his oldest and most precious artifacts, Trazyn never blamed his people for failing to stop him even as he impotently lashed out at Orikan with redirected asteroids. When they were discussing Orikan’s actions at the trial, Trazyn’s advisors were free to give their opinions even when they went contrary to Trazyn’s. I feel like having a boss who won’t blame you for disasters beyond your control and values the honest opinions of their workers is a commendable and rare trait in bosses today, let alone in 40K.

We know for a fact Necrons tend to view all other races as inferior and primitive, even the Aeldari who are more advanced than all other races safe for Necrons themselves, and yet you can really see that Trazyn was genuinely sad to lose Koloma, and not just because he was doing a good job and his loss was an inconvenient, but because he realises too late he basically forgot that he was immortal, and that what seemed like the blink of an eye for a Necron was an entire lifetime for a Human, i think he even feels guilty about it ? He also makes sure Koloma has a quick, peaceful and painless death, a proper funeral which is a luxury in 40K, and that his family/children are well taken care of. I think Trazyn "rescued" Varnak, who agreed as he could keep sending his data back to the Mechanicus (Trazyn rather kindly sends it on for him).

My first book was Infinite and Divine, and it hooked me real good. All the other factions are great but the Necron perspective is so dynamic. I love that a "small" chapter in a Necron feud can span centuries or even millennia. "Time is a wheel. And the wheel turns ever on." "And for Orikan, it was a time for revenge."
I love Trazyn. Him and Orikan are hilarious at times in the Infinite and the Devine. A good book for any fan of Warhammer. Another top notch video Wes.
I"d say a good book in general. I barely stepped into 40k when i read it and it is so far not just my favorite 40k book, but one of my favorite books period.
I've never read or played 40K but this video was really cool, is it ok if read this book or do you recommend another one I should read before hand? I have a rough idea of some stuff in 40K like the war in heaven just from watching a couple videos.
having read infinite and the divine multiple times: trazyn is by far my favorite character in 40k right up there with commissar guant, hes funny yet strange, caring yet completely inhuman, he has deep depths to his character and hes simultaneously very simple. i think he is probably one of if not the most interesting characters in 40k, and i would love to just read book after book of him just going around "liberating" relics. his antics are endlessly fun.
Hold up, hold up, *HOLD UP!* Does my man Trazyn have a *FLOOD INFECTION FORM* in his collection?!?!? 6:52 This dude is such a cleptomanic, he's breaking the 4th wall and "liberating" from other franchises!
Yarrik was really unique until they off'd him to justify a wagh against chaos. Having honored nemesis in the grimdark was kinda an awesome contrast to all the endless pointless war. The Orks belief in Yarriks badassery also warping reality to make him fight better and live longer is also an amazing play on a self fulfilling prophecy. Getting rid of that to just fridge him is a really lame idea
I like that people can die and things can change in 40k. but so far this does seem to be a step in the wrong direction. Who know's maybe Trazyn secreted him away to the gallery
@@Lazrael32 I can agree on both counts lol. Leaving the lore in a state of suspended animation, doesnt give it room to evolve and become as rich... buuuut, this still so far seems like a net loss since it takes something unique in the lore and removes it to justify actions that are far less unique. It's not like Yarriks death is the only way Orks would fight Chaos (nor even ur better idea of Trazyn collecting him) since these are both things that these factions/characters are already prone to doing. If ur going to kill unique a part of the lore-- I would like to see it result in a shifting the state of play in an equally unique way
Who says Gork or Mork won't do anything with Yarrick? I would not count on Yarrick being out of lore for long given how much Orks respect/love him and the power of waaaagh! and their reality warping.
He probably has multiple artifacts that can bring back the Emperor into full strength and told the Imperium about it and doesn't give it just to troll them and probably has similar things for every other faction
Trazyn is one of the few characters in Warhammer 40k where him just living his best life doesn’t just not hurt anyone, but actually does some real good sometimes.
Trazyn is GW's real CEO, he pulls strings to have fun since he lost his past, he tries to make up for it building a great story of the future, he nudges things on the right way to get the best one. I'm sure that he'll be a central figure in the avoidance of the end times.
In the next update to the Ork codex, it should allude that Gazkull has gone missing, potential to find angreon. Then in the following Necron codex update it should casually mention Trazyns newest additions, a famous figure from the Astra Militarum and a rather large Ork that seemed very interested in freeing him.
I have a hard time finding 40k stories that scratch that itch for horror and the unknown. I love the stuff you're making. Also if that's you playing Fabius, great voice acting!
I've been listening to the Caiphus Cain books, and I feel he would be a good character to do a deep dive on. Much like Trazyn, he is considered a humorous character in the 40K Universe.
Trazyn is the character who got me into 40k, I watched your original youtube short on him and fell in love with him, now hes the leader of my necron army and my entire army is called "The Children of Trazyn"! Aswell as the connected lore between me and my friends armies have to deal with Trazyn wanting to add to his collection lmao
Two things One: I would totally like to see a deep dive on the Fulgrim clone and implications thereof. Two: I would totally love to see your renditions of your favorite scenes from books with that level of voice acting you've had with Bile
Also, I appreciate sponsors for practical things like T-Shirts as opposed to Raid: Shadow Legends. I'm getting old, so there's that, but it's nice to get ads for things I need.
He has one of everything he threw a Bell destroying his collection into the web way just to F with the eldar I love him I'm happy you brought that up at, 27:26, and also the fact that he can have a galactic scale pissing match for millions of years lol
0:30 the only thing this dude does not have in the museum is the little Kreiger, which will be the most difficult guy to get (as literally EVERYONE in the 40k universe will come after him if he kidnaapes that kid
Trazyn "liberating" the emperor would be so fucking funny. Imagine some metal dude rolls up and kidnaps your god, breaking FTL travel in the process, and then just puts him in an exhibit for all eternity.
Ayyy that’s some great voicing for Trayzn you did there! Sounds like a cybernetic Joker which is fitting. Great in depth lore on this skele as always man.
Most characters and forces in 40k seek to destroy all that stands in front of them. Trazyn seeks to preserve and keep things of all kinds pristine and as minted as possible. He has my respect for that. My fave Necron by far. As for other characters to do a video on, I'd love to see you tackle a daemon prince like Be'Lakor or M'kar the reborn
Wes I’m so glad I found your channel cause I do not have the drive to deep dive into Warhammer lore so far. Not only does it sound tedious and expansive, but it’s also confusing. However you seem to just outright make that not seem so. You make it simple, fun, and interesting to know more about the lore. I didn’t know much except Chaos before, but now I know things like Slaanesh was birthed from the Eldar being idiots, that there were orks so powerful that they rivaled gods, and that there’s a good daemon in Warhammer? Keep it up my guy! I always love learning more through you! ❤
Trazyn is the best character ever he is the reason I started necrons which was my first army instead of sisters, after reading the infinite and the divine I now own 11 trazyns
You should do a video on Be'lakor. He is a super underrated daemon prince with deep rooted ties to fantasy and 40ks histories as a shadowy eldrech horror
Trazyn is amazing even though I love my Eldar ( Not them Dark Eldar wretches ) he is incredibly powerful and his book with Orikan is 1 of my favorite books of all time
I have never played a moment of tabletop warhammer. But I love watching all these lore videos. The fact that Trazyn wants to steal The God-Emperor is just... hilarious beyond compare. What a fucking legend. I hope he pulls it off, at least temporarily.
Awesome video dude!!! I wouldn't mind seeing more of Fulgrim since his and most other traitors had fairly bad reasons for falling and it seems like their souls might have been shattered when they fell so this could make a bunch of sense on the lore aspect to one day have a loyal Fulgrim or a loyal Magnus.
I liked the idea that Fulgrim fell to the demon sword and was suffering inside. but then a later writer threw that whole story out the window. still maybe it was the demon lying.
Hey Weshammer I was thinking it be cool to see you do a break down on every legion and do full backstory’s like you did with the death guard I know it would take time so take all the time but if you can do this I know a lot of people would enjoy it and I know Halloween has passed but I’d love more horror story’s from 40k keep up all the amazing work you do and I don’t know for sure but I give you mad respect if you have to edit and do everything yourself because it just shows you enjoy doing every part of even you could pay someone to do it Ps we love you weshammer keep it up never stop doing what you love ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙
Crazy question about Trazyn on the tabletop. Can he use Tesseract vaults? Can he deploy units or characters from other factions? Can he capture units or characters used by the opponent?
Thank you for this very interesting vidéo, I didn't knew much about Trazin before it. I knew about the fact he got Creed during Cadia's last stand but didn't knew it would be for making Cadia stand, one last time for eternity. About the fulgrim as a loyalist the chance for Trazin letting this happen by releasing fulgrim perfect clone's would be at the prospect of the historical moments that would come out if this. If he do it, there is a very big chance it's would be for the sake of finding new fine additions to his collection.
i really like trazyn as i think he has some of the best characterization, he also is kind of neutral if there is such a thing in war hammer hes not out to conquer hes out to collect and lets face it we all are collectors. i feel a connection with trazyn as he is like me a collector of things and lets face it what persons room isn't like the prismatic galleries. plus when i read about the necrons trazyns depiction is what made me decide i would do his dynasty as i like him best even though he can be used in any army, i like the design and the color.

MLP? HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE MAJESTY OF TRAZYN'S GLORIOUS COLLECTION.
Trazyn is basically a WH fan inside the WH universe - he loves lore and to collect minis.
After reading The Infinite and the The Divine, Trazyn has become my favorite character, next to Ciaphas Cain. But whereas Cain is the epitome of the good man that cares for his people, Trazyn is the trolling meme Necron lord who just lives to collect and to improve his collection, messing up with everyone.
Trazyn you great bastard, take me for your collection!!
Meanwhile I just hope one day we get a story about the Blood Ravens discovering Trazen's cache and beginning the ultimate klepto war
And then they find their OG geneseed in his collection.
@@alemorikec It's there. I've seen it.
Bro it’s gonna turn out they’re somehow made from Geneseed derived from Trazyn himself. They’ll become his only true friends, and together figure out a way to steal the Emperor himself, with Trazyn promising that he has a way to revive the Emperor and that’s why they go along with it
And yes I know that physically impossible but if ya boi Lucius can somehow possess a soulless necron swordsman and turn its living metal into whatever kind of flesh makes up Lucius, then why can’t a space marine chapter be the children of a different necron?

Dawn of war 4.
The one time that Trazyn meets his match: A whole unit of superhuman kleptomaniacs
I have a suspicion that Trazyn's Mechanicus Buddy is Magos Varnak, the head of the unlucky team who first encountered the Tyranids on Tyran - in "War in the Museum" Trazyn cuts off the announcement about him at "Magos V-" before waking him up.

Wes my dude I appreciate your existence on the internet, your storytelling and lore videos really bring me in to the setting.
"You cant steal from the dead, thats called acheology" one of my favorite lines from The infinite and the divine
I believe their relationship in that book is the author's love letter to the 70s sitcom The Odd Couple. Trazyn is by far my favorite 40k character
I've never read or played 40K but this video was really cool, is it ok if read this book or do you recommend another one I should read before hand? I have a rough idea of some stuff in 40K like the war in heaven just from watching a couple videos.
@@solidman8360 yes you can read this book. It is a stand alone and a lot of fun.
He's like an unholy mix of Einstein, Deadpool, Dr. Jones, Dr. Hammond and the player. It's up thier with the Orks in sheer genius of design.
I would add the Collector from MK11 as well.
having read infinite and the divine multiple times: trazyn is by far my favorite character in 40k right up there with commissar guant, hes funny yet strange, caring yet completely inhuman, he has deep depths to his character and hes simultaneously very simple.
i think he is probably one of if not the most interesting characters in 40k, and i would love to just read book after book of him just going around "liberating" relics. his antics are endlessly fun.
Hold up, hold up, *HOLD UP!* Does my man Trazyn have a *FLOOD INFECTION FORM* in his collection?!?!? 6:52
This dude is such a cleptomanic, he's breaking the 4th wall and "liberating" from other franchises!
If ur going to kill unique a part of the lore-- I would like to see it result in a shifting the state of play in an equally unique way
@@austinmontalvo3273 yeah agreed
@@austinmontalvo3273 it could motivate Ghaz to take steps towards becoming a proto-krork so that he can stand toe to toe with Angron and kick his ass
Who says Gork or Mork won't do anything with Yarrick? I would not count on Yarrick being out of lore for long given how much Orks respect/love him and the power of waaaagh! and their reality warping.
My favourite thing about Trazyn is how he's friends with Cawl, even with their different ideologies
It would be interesting to see Trazyn go on a shopping spree and see what he can collect from the Vaults of Terra.
He probably has multiple artifacts that can bring back the Emperor into full strength and told the Imperium about it and doesn't give it just to troll them and probably has similar things for every other faction
He's such a lovely guy. He yeeted a bell to the eldar as a sign of lolz.
Serves them right for being such stuck-up gits.
Trazyn is one of the few characters in Warhammer 40k where him just living his best life doesn’t just not hurt anyone, but actually does some real good sometimes.
I absolutely love this little gremlin of a necron. This is by far the best video you've ever made.
Then in 11th alluding to the krork losing his armour and body...
I find it rather flattering Trazyn considers the emperor to be the crown jewel of his entire collection.
EoM probably the strongest being that's ever lived in 40k
I have a hard time finding 40k stories that scratch that itch for horror and the unknown. I love the stuff you're making. Also if that's you playing Fabius, great voice acting!

The Astra Militarum leader did not die. Trazyon got him. Now he is part of the collection.
You majorkill and the remembrancer are by far my favorite warhammer lore Chanel’s
I love trazyn so much. He’s just the best.
I've been listening to the Caiphus Cain books, and I feel he would be a good character to do a deep dive on. Much like Trazyn, he is considered a humorous character in the 40K Universe.
Trazyn is both a Hero and a Troll the Galaxies biggest troll but thats is why we love him so much as an Char
27:38. Interresting he is so good at collecting he was able to get even Ranni
A deep dive into Erda and the other Perpetuals would be pretty cool
Trazyn is the only one who's not chaotic in the 40k universe.

@@apolloknight9521 chaotic neutral. Cause he is kinda looney

Trazyn is a great character! I just got done reading The Infinite and the Divine, a great book and I can't wait to read more about these characters.
Also, I appreciate sponsors for practical things like T-Shirts as opposed to Raid: Shadow Legends. I'm getting old, so there's that, but it's nice to get ads for things I need.

Trazyn the quite a lot: IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM!!!
He has one of everything he threw a Bell destroying his collection into the web way just to F with the eldar I love him I'm happy you brought that up at, 27:26, and also the fact that he can have a galactic scale pissing match for millions of years lol
Hopefully we get a story showing just how annoying the bell turns out to be at some point with a random alderi shouting "damn you trayzen!"
He probably already has a pedestal display ready 😂😂😂. All he needs is to liberate the emperor.

Ayyy that’s some great voicing for Trayzn you did there! Sounds like a cybernetic Joker which is fitting. Great in depth lore on this skele as always man.
The necron to play warhammer in the warhammer universe. I dont think anyone really dislikes him
Wait, so even as sick and frail as the Necrons were during their time as beings of flesh, they're still stronger than this insane fight? Damn.
Trazyn is just a Warhammer player in the lore he wants to collect everything and everyone for his gloryfied shelf
That trazyn devious lick meme had me laughing for like five minutes straight I had to pause the video LMFAO
The powerful ancient entity when the ubersreik five (or four, doesn’t matter) ruin everything for him
Big fan of Argal Tal myself. His bromance with kharn was pretty great
Trazyn is amazing even though I love my Eldar ( Not them Dark Eldar wretches ) he is incredibly powerful and his book with Orikan is 1 of my favorite books of all time
I have never played a moment of tabletop warhammer.
*trazyn literally in a room with parts of the universe*
Trazyn: I just think it’s neat.

Who said he isn’t by the time the Dark Age of Technology happens?
For Trazyns final piece, it's him collecting a stasis cube of him collecting artifacts.
worst is, he likely can with his body-snatching tricks... hijack a lord body, collect shiny, stasis himself, hop into new body
Hey Weshammer I was thinking it be cool to see you do a break down on every legion and do full backstory’s like you did with the death guard I know it would take time so take all the time but if you can do this I know a lot of people would enjoy it and I know Halloween has passed but I’d love more horror story’s from 40k keep up all the amazing work you do and I don’t know for sure but I give you mad respect if you have to edit and do everything yourself because it just shows you enjoy doing every part of even you could pay someone to do it

Thank you for this very interesting vidéo, I didn't knew much about Trazin before it. I knew about the fact he got Creed during Cadia's last stand but didn't knew it would be for making Cadia stand, one last time for eternity.
About the fulgrim as a loyalist the chance for Trazin letting this happen by releasing fulgrim perfect clone's would be at the prospect of the historical moments that would come out if this. i really like trazyn as i think he has some of the best characterization, he also is kind of neutral if there is such a thing in war hammer hes not out to conquer hes out to collect and lets face it we all are collectors. i feel a connection with trazyn as he is like me a collector of things and lets face it what persons room isn't like the prismatic galleries. plus when i read about the necrons trazyns depiction is what made me decide i would do his dynasty as i like him best even though he can be used in any army, i like the design and the color.
