I was at this game, it was truly the game where I knew things were different! The previous five years, by the time we got to the end of the game, we were either trying to recover an onside kick or going for a 4th and impossible, and inevitably lose the game. When Saban ran off the field almost every fan was still in the stadium cheering him!
DJ Hall was Nick Saban's first top receiver nobody talks about. GIilbery was his top defensive lineman. DJ had all the recieving records. If Alabama had Pat White from Daphne instead of John Parker Wilson, Alabama would have more than likely won the NC or played in it.
I've never seen anything in college football like that 07 Arkansas backfield. Poor Darren McFadden worked his A** off and still took a L on this one. Unfortunately, Arkansas didn't have much of a defense.
