I enjoyed the 11 unit power move as the one of the heaviest shortest trains and the track crossover shot in zoom showing the cars bobbing and weaving through it. Awesome vid MB!
Nice way to start the day! Didn't watch it while I was on the treadmill but while I was having my coffee. I'll watch part 2 from the treadmill. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks! Yea, that's true; I didn't have much time for railfanning recently, but that day was a good compensation despite the weather. The good thing about gray skies and rain is that one doesn't need to take into account the sun and shadows, which actually increases the number of options for filming considerably. So I actually enjoy it at times.
Maybe I’ve never noticed this, but why is there a gap from truck to full tank on 3404 at 14:37? I don’t think I have ever seen (or noticed) that before.
I liked😊 but when you going to put on a other video next? But that engine is so race a Norfolk Southern (SD70ACE) #1069 'Virginian' . I never seed a that engine before at the BNSF railway tracks in Placentia, CA?
Thanks! The problem is that whenever I visit the East End I feel I miss great action on the Atlanta North. That's why I typically end up in Austell lol.
HI MBMARS GREAT ACTION IT WAS FUN TO SEE ALL THE DIFFERENT RAIL ROADS. THERE WAS A TRAIN WITH 7 ENGINES WERE ALL OF THEM RUNNING. i LIKED THE LIGHT ENGINE MOVES 11 ENGINES. WERE ALL THESE TRAINS SHOT IN ONE DAY? THANKS FOR YOUR WORK i GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. i LOVE THE 4K NICE AND CLEAR THE COLORS JUST POP. DID i HAPPEN TO SEE A LITTLE SNOW OR WAS THAT RAIN. i LOOK FORWARD TO PART 2
Actually, these are only the catches of the first half of that day. The second part will cover the afternoon action. There was no snow, but lots of rain.
Lol, I was very surprised myself to see this lonesome gondola on the stack train. I do not actually know what these racks are for. Could be that they are used to transport empty trailers. I have seen stacked trailers on intermodal trains before, but I don't remember how the racks looked like.
They once had one but it was removed. I think NS doesn't like if too many people get attracted to this area. It's a relatively dangerous place, with all those cars, crossings, and occasionally fast trains.
Google for DPD Productions (portable and long, but more powerful) or Smiley antenna (for handheld devices). "Tuned" just means it has the right cut for the RR frequencies 160-161MHz.

Many thanks. Great you enjoyed it!
Nice vid again MB. Really like the new intro as well.
Cool, thanks!
Great video. I used to live in Austell and would go to the Burger King and take it too the Gazebo across the street and watch trains for hours!!!
Thank you! Oh well, it's a great place to live if one likes trains...
What a great assortment of trains and you professionally captured them all. Thanks for your time and effort to bring it to us. 🚂
Cool, thanks. It was a very productive day.
Fantastic, quite an interesting assortment of power in play. Look forward to the second part

Thanks! Lol, you need to be a little bit patient. Part 2 still needs to be produced...
All in one day - "awesome collection" might be an understatement. That was a mighty fine video.
Lol, you're right - and the second part will be at least as good... Many thanks, I'm happy you enjoyed it.

Well done! I always enjoy your videos.. The long shots are nice. Busy place!
Many thanks! Glad you like it!
Nice camera angles at Austell! I knew you'd get cabin fever and get out and film after day to day rain! Showers off and on for next 2 weeks!

Good to see you back... My son is moving from San Diego to Atlanta. I don't know why but I guess he's just ready to get out of Kalifornia.
Well, Georgia has also quite nice corners :)

Awesome video with the straight SD60s at 12:00!
Cool, thanks!
Yeah thats what I meant
No, they are called GP60s.
When amtrak comes by you need to start taking a few steps back, they seem to be flying off the tracks lately.
At 2:56 The gate light fell off lol. Nice video
Yep, looks funny. Thanks!
Great looking video.
Awesome, thanks!
Love the Wye birds eye veiw
That's just a google maps 3D image.

It will take some time to produce part 2.
Great video! Let me know when your ever come to the East End! There is some nice spots where you can shoot!
Thanks! The problem is that whenever I visit the East End I feel I miss great action on the Atlanta North. That's why I typically end up in Austell lol.
mbmars01 Oh ok. By the way, what scanner do you have? It seems like it picks up good
I use a Uniden BC125AT with a Smiley antenna.
Great job on this.
Thank ya!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it ;-)
Two questions about G92: Who put that gon in there 😉, and what are those racks on the last four cars? Nice location.
Lol, I was very surprised myself to see this lonesome gondola on the stack train. I do not actually know what these racks are for. Could be that they are used to transport empty trailers. I have seen stacked trailers on intermodal trains before, but I don't remember how the racks looked like.
awesome video!
Thank you!
your welcome
Oops! They are not supposed to have Gondola cars in the middle of intermodal consists. I have seen that @ 13:12. :)
Yes, I agree. This was very special.
Austell needs a train platform
They once had one but it was removed. I think NS doesn't like if too many people get attracted to this area. It's a relatively dangerous place, with all those cars, crossings, and occasionally fast trains.
Hi MbMars01 Ive been trying to figure out What MP is Pineville NC Norfolk Southern and what sub is it? Thanks Bradley Reim
I would guess it's on the Piedmont sub.
Ok thanks :)
Do you know where i can get a railroad tuned antenna for my scanner?
Google for DPD Productions (portable and long, but more powerful) or Smiley antenna (for handheld devices). "Tuned" just means it has the right cut for the RR frequencies 160-161MHz.
8:23 Only 1 of dem ditch lights work
What was your favorite part from this video
My own favorites will be in part 2 ;-)
Wow ✅
Great Vid...as usual...
