    Hi Ben I've been watching you for a while and get a lot of good info. And fun watching the lounge and hotel visits. My questions is abt getting the sapphire bonus. I've had my CSR for 5 years. I'm ready for the 80K bonus again. How long after I down grade my current card do in have to wait before reapplying for the sapphire and get the bonus?

    Great video Ben! Quick question. If I already have the freedom unlimited and got the bonus for that, it seems I can still apply for the freedom flex and get the bonus for that one as well, correct?

    Great video! 2 questions for you my friend. Is there a set limit on all 3 cards combined? I think i remember hearing that chase wont let you exceed a certain amount across all the cards combined. 2nd question is am I eligible to get the bonus twice on separate ink cards without waiting like the other ones that were 24 months and 12 months? Like if get the Chase sapphire bonus this month is there or any of this rules keep me from getting miles on a Chase United Explorer card?

      IFFF you got your Sapphire Reserve bonus more than 48 months ago, then the following would be your best option: downgrade/product change your Reserve to another freedom card (no annual fee), and then apply for the Preferred (80k bonus for $4k spend in first 90 days), and then after having that card for a year, you could product change your new Preferred into a new Reserve. BUT if you received ANY Preferred OR Reserve bonus within the past 48 months, then this idea will be worthless to you unfortunately. Good luck! 👍

    I'm about to switch to the ink

    • @jonathanlosa399
      @jonathanlosa399 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bonus earning categories are different to account for business/personal spending habits, so that may or may not work in your favor. Ink has lower dining multiplier and no doordash benefit. You can get 5x on many extra things with the ink by purchasing gift cards from office supply stores. Insurances/protections on the ink stipulate "for business purposes", so you may have to justify that if you ever need to file a claim. Ink doesnt have the $50 annual hotel credit to help offset the annual fee. Ink does have a slightly higher signup bonus at the moment. Ink is a business card, so utilization is not reflected on your personal credit report. This also makes it a good way to get a new card without adding to 5/24.

      @guaparra2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @classicrocker81
      @classicrocker81 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A downgrade or product change is not considered a new application so it shouldn’t affect 5/24 status if thats what you mean. And from what he explained you can have two Flex cards so long as one is a downgrade from a Sapphire card.
